" yes, contact, & sometimes shared weight, lifts. yet both dancers mostly firmly maintain their own centers and quite a bit of central control. not much 'shared center' where both dancers are off-kilter and depending on the other. very few genuine momentum threads... There is no official definition of CI, that's why we love it...dialogue & discourse can point to essential elements..
wonderful dance: so fluid, always interesting ... kudos to the bass clarinetist, too - that rich, complex note he sustains at around 1:50, with its beautiful overtones and distortion is fabulous
