I have two 700PSS from the remington custom shop in Ilion NY, they have consecutive build numbers and were made in 1995. They have 24" barrels, and 1:12 twist rates, one is in 223, the other in 308. The 308 shoots 1/4 moa with factory match ammo or M118LR, the 223 shots a little smaller. I have a target posted on the SWFA web site, .442 5 shot group at 200 yards.. One hole

Badger Ordinance base, HS precision stock (well $1100 base rifle). Something tells me it didn;t have a $250 Millet scope on top of it most of its life lol. Unless you're like me and bought all the best, then realized you had no scope money left (except I opted for a Bell and Carlson stock and SPS varmint so I had a few hundred more for glass). If you did have the millet on there before, how's it work for ya? I ended up with a Weaver Tac 3-15x50 but it's still in the mail.

that was a nice rifle you had.. truely impressive, but my jaw dropped when i seen how much you payed for it. im not knocking you on it. any custom rifle isnt cheap . but it is built for you. the most i would be willing to pay for a presision rile is 800 tops... you and tweek cheep rifle to compeat with high end riles.. ne ways sorry you had to part with that peice of art.

How is this thing "highly modified?" And how does it have "every possible thing done to it?" Have you PERSONALLY bedded it? Have you blueprinted the reciever? Have you lapped the lug yet? And like you said, you didn't even replace the barrel. Shoot, it doesn't even have a Shillen. Competition? Dont think so. Most people that WIN competitions have Krieger's, and dont use $250 glass. Nice rifle, but the only way you will get $1700 is if an IDIOT buys it. Sorry.

I'm sorry, but you will never sell this rifle for this much, ever - especially with a cheap scope on top of that rifle. I own a .22-250 Rem 700 VSF, and it was not $1100 ... it was $800. Also, sorry to say but the rings, mounts, bolt knob, sling and base you should chalk up as a personal loss because I can order all of that for $200. Also, sorry, but you spent $250 on a jewel trigger on a rifle that does not need it ... i will give you $1100 for everything listed.

@aroccop It's a sun shade you screw on the end of the scope. Doesn't do a whole lot except make the scope look bigger.

I have a tac rifle just like yours in just about every way in 7MAG, I use it for hogs

in Arkansas, Alabama and Texas..Don't let a farmer blow smoke up there asses when they cry about the damage the hogs do. If it was so bad in there minds

they would invite you to shoot all you can...we do.
