It was heroin and she was only with him for five years, he could have faked his own death but even John Densmore said he "would do something like that" but did not. He is obviously dead but why argue? The rumor of him living helps keep him alive in it's own way.

if he were alive he'd be how old??? i did think sometimes he was alive bcuz he was fucked legally in the states and how much higher could he get with his stardom...so why not create a legend and fake a death..other wise he'd be an old man like mic jagger..that's how people would remember him...now we remember him forever young...most of his words made no sense and were just said to fill gaps
