@tinmanism Stew introduced me to the Perfect Pushup and I brought it home to my wife to get the low-down... she's a physical therapist and specializes in sports rehab/shoulder injuries. She dissected it and watched me go up and down and basically said it's far better for your shoulders since it doesn't lock them in on position. The rotation works more of your shoulder, safer, and harder. If you can crank out 50 regular pushups with perfect form, look to do 20-25 with the Perfect Pushup.
hey how well do using the perfect pushups transition over to real pushups? if i did like the beginner to intermediate program for the perfect pushups and then maxed out a few weeks later would it help my max or should i just train regular pushups if i am trying to max on regular pushups?
@0587dave Yeah this helps alot. Before pushups were hard for me, after i workout with this, i went to normal pushups and could crank out 70 good ones before i felt a burn. This thing is genius
we do a workout somewhat like this for swim practices at the begining of the season, 50-100 yard sprint swim followed by 20-30 push ups, another 50 followed by pull ups etc for up to 1500 yards
whats crazy is that im 260 and can do 45 regular pushups non-stop, but i recently got this perfect pushup and I did 1 and it felt like i did 20 lol. That told me this little thing works
@GangsterG2 what make it hard is that you have no choice but to do it right. as on the floor, you tend to do more than you would on the perfect pushup. but I've got to 25 on the perfect pushup now. but its still a challenge
He is doing the hand grip for the Wide grip version listed on the poster thing that came with them the regular grip one when ur up the handles are horizontal and down is vertical so it depends if your doin regular or wide i guess hes doing wide
Can the perfect pushup get u a bigger chest and arms? Plus everything else I do.

on the perfect pushup? You just have to ge used to it then. I started with my hands like in a normal push up...
