Let's see, that pesky law of thermodynamics, and we are aware of science and math. Put simple science and math to work.You find that: approx 5 billion people must die due to lack of food. Food is grown with energy. Without fossil fuel bolstering our farming the earth will not support more than perhaps1.5-2 billion people. Energy=life. Less energy will mean less life. If we don't develop an alternative that works it must be our future.

Some good ideas. Ilike the solar idea as a friend of mine has a system that sells the extra energy back to the grid in the summer and pays a little in the winter. He brakes even annually. The system cost him $25000.00. Don't rely on your gov't (I'm Canadian) rely on the people. Organize, mobilize and start community think tanks. Stay positive................

And the people that hold the genuine levers of power have a solid method of control through impending energy crises, worldwide. I believe that solar power & geothermal is the way to go. I've heard that some people have already been doing this. It has not been encouraged by the media (given much exposure) because there cannot be a meter put on it for any utility or oil co. to profit. Same way with HHO kits for automobiles.
