  • I think the scene works better silent. Mostly because you don't have to hear the terrible dialogue.

  • @privatefell And when I mean "silent," I mean "with this music instead of the dialogue." Sorry. Pre-caffeine slip up.

  • And of course it ends with Mace Windu and his awesomeness!

  • Honestly, I don't notice any sync issues. It matches up nearly perfectly with the action, quieting down during dialogue, etc.

It's just not necessarily Mickey Mousing everything which tended to happen in the Prequels. Much more akin to the OT music, I think.

  • episode 2 was my favorite out of the prequels. Dooku shows the jedi how a real lightsaber duel works.

  • Whoever's idea it was to cut this music out was pathetic- John Williams is the besy

  • Hardly isolated

  • @donaldthescotishtwin ...it IS isolated, its only the music, no voices or sound effects

  • 7 Geonosians don't appreciate this video.

  • This song goes good with WoW (World of warcraft) if you are a Role player

  • By this point in the movie I could not wait for it to be over.

  • Great meat grinder theme for Republic Commando and the Battlefront games.

  • this music used in Republic commando = win

  • Its so sad cuz when padme jumps on the rhino thingy with anakin there all kissing and stuff, but when obi wan jumps on no one seems to care.... D:

  • federation are like nazi, badass but so cool)))

  • Whats the name of the music after this when the clones arrive for the fist time??

  • @Maverick0420 Escape from Naboo.

  • just reminds me of the Federation

  • Ooooh!!! I love Marchs!!!! This is amazing!!! and my favorite part of Episode II. So powerful, so mean... wow!

  • Boba ftw

  • was the drums of the orginal version part of the movie are john williams came across it at the time

  • My fav. character is General Grievous!

  • This seq. especially reminds me of "Adventures of Sinbad" and old 30's Serials.

  • My favourite character is Kit Fisto

  • from 0:44,so dam awsome!

  • I especially love that part of the song when used in Episode III

  • yes! ur right.. ;)

  • thats one of the best parts in episode 2.

this one, the battle, the dual between darth tyranus and yoda and kamino.

  • Yeah, just had to wait till all politics, lame romance and character development story was over.

The good parts are often near the ending.

  • and the march on the jedi temple

  • WOW very well and clever done! thank u!

  • love the start of this music piece

  • I've always loved this track to pieces; it's my favorite Star Wars song. I really want just this section, the march without the sappy love theme combined into it...

  • why? Across the Star is a beautiful theme and leads to the arena theme perfectly.

  • John williams is a genius!

  • oh man, i was searching for this song for so long time, thank u so much 5*

  • Why they removed the song it was soo nice in this scene. =S

PS. I got this soundtrack PM if you want ;) =)

  • This music appears more in Revenge of the Sith than The Clone Wars. That's the soundtrack with the best music. I've got this soundtrack but the music can't be played on Mac or PC (or Xbox 360) which means I can't stick it on me iPod :(

  • kool

  • this song rocks and that scene rocked

  • epic scene

  • whats the name of this music

  • "Love Pledge and the Arena". Track #12 on the original soundtrack CD.

  • The scene was probably re-edited after the music was dropped. But this music was supposed to be in this scene.

  • @gamera77 Yeah, the music in this final cut for the movie used bits and pieces of the Phantom Menace soundtrack.

  • I don't think this music was ever suposed to be in this particular scene. It's a military march, not an action piece. And Williams records music to a completely edited film, so if it was meant for this scene, it would sync perfectly. It's e great piece of music though, too bad it hardly appears in the movie at all..

  • Hey, May I ask where did you get this great theme? Is from a soundtrack (I have not been able to find it, though)? If you have it, would you please send it to me? Thanks!

  • *Edit* - Never mind! I found out where to get it. :P Sorry for any trouble. However, if you do have it, I would like someone to send it to me. Thanks.

  • and the imperial march on the jedi temple

  • it is also used in the first scene in ep III in the kashykk scene

  • star wars' music will go down in history as some of the best composed movie music ever.

  • Thus music was used in the original Clone Wars Cartoons. In Volume Two where the wookie planet was invaded.

  • I like how her shirt changes from 1:36 before she gets scratched, to at the moment on when she gets scratched at 1:40... did anyone else notice that?
