@kztar621 what do you mean? the goblins look the same, Link can swing his sword, while riding epona, the boss at the final segment is there. oh link don't push any blocks in the final version. good riddance! the field link is riding on otherwise is hyrule field just as in the final version. this game was in production for 5-6 years you can't expect them to not change anything since then.

If you saw a trailer from tp of today and got "this" game you would probably think the same way.

I think it's because Twilight Princess is similar to OOT, but just slightly inferior. If it wasn't so obviously going off of OOT, it would perhaps be a more stand-out game and eclipse WW, but..... yeah.

Wish ninendo went HD, so that the world is more detailed and so the world will be FULL of monsters and soldier fights. They should make It a bit more like LOTR: a large field completly full of monsters. The soldiers in TP didn't do shit and there were some monsters walking around in the open world. It didn't feel like they were at war with good versus evil. More like there are dangerous beasts/animals in hyrule...

Twillight Princess was a huge dissapointment for me, i'm not saying I didn't like the game I't's just that I expected waaay more then It was. It looks way more epic in this trailer, but TP felt a bit rushed and they didn't used the whole world enough.

It's very common for early video game trailers to contain elements that don't appear within the finished game. These are known as beta elements. There are many reasons why this happens, sometimes they don't have time to fully implement them, they are changed and improved or the idea simply doesn't work. The hype was insane for this game, Nintendo treated it like it was the second coming and it turned out to be *surprise* another rehash of Ocarina of Time.

Twilight Princess has so far been the best game of the decade and everyone has to stop comparing it to Ocarina of Time. Ocarina came at the very beginning of 3D console gaming and as such was extremely unique and influencial. TP could never be these things because it was released nine years later. Twilight Princess accomplished all that it possibly could - it refined and perfected the Zelda formula while also adding unique controls that vastly improved its gameplay. An epic masterpiece.

Yeah, this wasn't even the best game of the year. I definitely agree that Metroid Prime was easily one of the best of the decade. THE best? Could be. It's certainly arguable, but games like Perfect Dark (original, of course), Halo: CE, and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion are also definitely very strong contenders.

I'll easily say that Prime gave me the biggest "wow" when I played it. Best graphics of its time, mind-blowing attention to detail, and groundbreaking design. I could go on and on!

Wind Waker comes in second for me. I loved the entire atmosphere, but sailing took up too much time and the game didn't really have enough dungeons. There were only 5, 7 if you count the Forsaken Fortress and Ganon's Castle. I have the same gripe with Majora's Mask, especially compared to its predecessor's 8 dungeons.

TP turned out to be much less than what I expected in every way but could I be blamed? This trailer was shown two years earlier and contained armies of enemies,a huge sprawling world and great combat instead Nintendo pulled some weird fantasy shit and forgot about being realistic. They focused to much on the twilight realm, when that is what the fans cared about the least. TP was a good game but this early trailer shows that within the real version was an amazing game waiting to be unleashed.
