Why would anyone need this and where would it be used! at home......where I have a laptop and PC. On the commute to work where I have my phone and Ipod. To watch movies, to which i point you to all of the above and add that I have 2 games consoles and a DVD player. PLus to watch movies on this thing it would have to lie flat and you would need to look right down on it. Its a pointless technology. Double the size and the chances of dammage to the screen increase, in relative terms the iPad is blenheim palace and the iphone is a wendyhouse. People will buy it because its "cool" and "apple are innovating technology". No they arn't tablet PC's have been around for ages. This time they just shoehorned the Iphone OS into a bigger box. Bar the phone.

If any other brand would make this but better. obviously i would get that. ofcourse, there have been tablet pc's for ages. once again, it really depends on what people want. I'm watching the live stream of Apples Unvealing. The device looks pretty real! The person using the device must be an Apple insider. They say its an enlarged I phone. Looks like a nice to have gadget. It will be interesting to know the cost. Wow they just said $499.00 16GB and for 32GB an extra $100 - and if you want 3G an extra $130. Wow! I think 64GB with 3G will cost you around $800 US dollars.

It seems very unlikely that an Apple designer in Cupertino is looking at an ikea website in a foreign country -- note the price isn't in dollars. Further, why would the leak be sent to a foreign website that is historically inaccurate in all their predictions? It's most likely a well done fake.

At 0:17 look at the top right of the screen. You can see the screen flashing or blinking (whatever you call it). I've seen that in other videos where the camera is pointed at the screen of an electronic device. If it is fake, then whomever made it put alot of effort into it and they sure fooled me. In my opinion, the type of person that has the knowledge and resources to make it look that realistic, probably has better things to do than making a hoax vid (unless they were paid).
