@relak Yeah, in the original Japanese version of Digimon Adventure, the Seiyû for Patamon, Matsumoto Miwa, is the same Seiyû for Angemon. In the American version, it's Laura Summer and Dave Mallow respectively, except in Digimon Adventure 02: Diablomon's Counter-attack, where Bridget Hoffman voiced Patamon, like she did for the Patamon in the North American dub of Digimon Frontier. I guess keeping the same exact voice actor for the same exact character was a bad idea, right?
The american version really Rocks!!! and doesn't suck what so ever.

That's not true. Women will usually do the voices for males in Japanese anime if the character is a young boy, like a toddler or a young adolescent.
I wish angemon's voice were more masculine and deep, but maybe the creators wanted him to have a slightly more androgenous voice.
