Hey man.. when you make ctf themes the rco, pmf, etc. (system files in flash0) are loaded. That is where the gameboot timer which is located in a rco file and the gameboot.pmf is stored. If the custom theme your editing or creating already has one built into it, you won't be able to run a gameboot that you flashed onto your psp. I doubt that makes sense. Reply or message me if you want a better explanation.
a little better explanation would be nice, thank. i am still kinda new at it, i only make gameboots and i try not to mess with the flash0 at all. thanks again.
So you basically rewrote the gameboot.pmf file. As i mentioned earlier themes have their own vsh folders and rcos that they temporarily load. If a theme has preloaded a gameboot it won't matter if you have flashed one or not. Its pretty much not going to work (in most cases). Your gameboot should work when no theme is loaded correct? Try taking memory stick out and hard-powering your psp.
so right now, i have replaced my flash0 with the backup of original and i use a plugin called myrandomgameboot to have upto 20 gameboots in the theme folder. no flash0.
Ah message me or this could get to long. But what I said earlier about the files being loaded.. im assuming if you hardpowered and no memory stick you would get normal sony coldboot and gameboot. Go to the original theme and see if that lets u run one.
hey since u know alot about gameboots and all I was just wondering if I put the custom theme alone without adding the gameboot and cold boot on my flash 0 will the theme still load its gameboot
Well if the ctf file is on your ms and it includes one then it should always load while the ms is in your psp. Hope that kinda answered your question?

if there is a theme in the flash0 then it will load it, if you use a gameboot plugin and gameboots in memstick it will load that way.
