@MrLexington45 If you still wanna play bass parts, just get a large bore tenor with F-attachment...it'll save you a few grand and all you are missing practically speaking is the low B-natural if you have a solid pedal range. I have a Blessing B-88O and can reach from a pedal D up to a double-high D, more if I actually practiced. All a "bass" trombone gives you is a second rotor (G or Gb) and a better sounding lower register.
