Thanks for the video, these guys are my favorite type of monkey!! Its sad to see them behind bars, but with the danger of extinction its a form of preservation & they also don't look too distressed or unhappy.
I always think of the black-footed ferret they thought was extinct, but when they found a group still alive, with a breeding programme they were able to release them back into the wild!!
@kaytizate Yes, thankfully the Shennongjia area (where I study snakes) has plenty of wild individuals. You can see pics of some of the wild monkeys on my flickr site
I would agree. I do not like it either. I took many photographs of the species in the wild (on my flickr account). One of the primary purposes of this video was to be able to let everyone hear the noises this species makes. Very unique.

Very nice monkeys. It is rather sad to see these guys behind bars. But thanks for posting this video. It's nice to be able to hear their sounds.

i hate to see animals in cages its like being held hostage. if u take a picture it will last longer
