I was sacked a few years back after a meeting where the boss told us we had to work least 12 hours/day 7 days a week for 3 months for no extra money! I said I wouldn't do it. Everyone else seemed accept it, only to be laid off as soon as the project was over. The company just hired a load of new graduates when their next project came in and did the same to them.

I felt quite down that I was sacked but I did the right thing and got a better job soon after.

I sat across the table from 2 of my cousins thursday night (we were visiting) and watched them go through a pile of 30+ circulars one at a time while on the laptop checking each store site out for ALL OF THE DEALS they were going to get! I went to two black friday lines .... to give away free bibles, vids and some other stuff. Best Buy asked me to not give away free things to their customers and Toys R Us did not give me a hassle. It is interesting, these ppl are in line for HOURS to shop and midnight yet they looked at ME as if I was strange. Glory to God, it is His glory alone that I was able to obey His Spirit prompting and do His work. It's all about God. The Lord used even "black friday" as an opportunity.

I've seen many great prep items on sale and the food is cheap. People should be buying food and canning it or putting it away, just bought 24 5lbs bags of flour for $21 and 24 lbs of butter for $47. Get it while it's cheap and while you have the money to buy it because next year maybe to late.
