@charbcbc does Gokor teach Gene Lebell's self defense techinques? I saw Gene Lebell grab a guys hair and in another instance he bit was a guys hand but this was in a demonstration. I dont think the Gracies suck but i think that they are stuck up saying that BJJ is the ultimate art when they later admit its not the best fighting art for the street. They eventually all had to cross train.

Rickson refused to fight Gokor. Donald Trump offered Rickson a lot of money and Rickson told Gokor that if they fight, no good would come out of it because someone would lose. Gokor said if that happens, they will have a rematch, but Rickson said it will never happen.

But, somehow I bet old "Nick 1973" is not a black belt, has not seen Gokor OR Rickson in person (I am a black belt and I have met them)....But don't worry Nick at least you can type like a tough guy!
What the hell are you a black belt in hapkido, you're obviously not a bjj black otherwise you'd know better than to say "i'd love to see if Rickson could grapple this guy" well Rickson would tear him a new one, Rickson still beats world champions half his age, the stories about him are true, hate if you want, but gokor isn't even in his league. I'll admit his judo is pretty damn slick but on the ground Rickson wouldn't even break a sweat.
You are way too old to be this inexperienced in martial arts? Trust me Judo Gene is twice the teacher / fighter any Gracie ever was. (in or out of the ring)
Before I waste any more time with you, I need to make sure you are even qualified to be in this discussion...What art do you train, what rank(s), how long, with who?
@streeteffective nobody, nothing, and no were :D the Gracies didnt even start teaching all there techniques to the general public untill Carlson Gracie forced them to because he started to teach all the moves to the general public
@NickC1973 You are disillusioned Gokor was never challenged by the Gracies because he was very very very good. However a 20 something Rickson did challenge a 60-+ yr old LeBell wow what a great challenge wait til he was too old to competitively roll with a prime Rickson so the Gracies could build their name off his rep. They avoided grapplers like Eric Paulson, Gokor and many others who could defeat them. Are you really sold on the Gracie business machine and believe they did not hand select ??

I think Rickson is the best BJJ fighter in the world and Gokor is the best Sambo fighter in the world. That's all I have to say.
