Thanks to Aljazeera for interview three diffent individuals so that this American can see the different views. I as an American, oppose the idea of this proposal considering that the U.S. has over 700 bases in 130 countries currently. This continued effort to establish more bases, now in Iraq, and next in Iran needs to stop! Ever since the invasion of Iraq, Oil prices worldwide have increased. I believe it is time for U.S. troops to be out of Iraq and out of the other 130 countries!

Giving American soldiers and the private security firms immunity from being charged for any criminal acts is stupid. If I remember clearly American soldiers even raped an Iraqi girl and tried to hide the evidence by setting her body on fire. That was after they shot dead all the civilians living near by.
