  • Hi, I have some questions about this capture card: how do you see the PS3 screen on your computer, i mean do you need an external program to see the video from the PS3 ? And is there a time latency between the gamepad and the screen ? ( even a very small latency, I just need to know ). Thanks

  • @TURST67 I use the Blackmagic Intensity Pro capture card. My PS3 connects to the card input, and the card output goes back into my TV. There is no lag when it's displayed back on the TV at all, although there is a small amount when it's displayed on the PC monitor. But as this has no effect on the actual recording, it makes no difference. The supplied software shows the video output on the PC monitor.

  • @RPGash Ok, thanks for the reply !

  • is there a gender of games like this?

  • @gamoceca1991 Some websites categorise this as an Adventure, some as Puzzle and others as Miscellaneous. Take your pick. I guess this type of game doesn't really fall into the traditional genre categories =/

  • @RPGash thanks :)

  • People can't seem to be able to appreciate a game for it beauty and simplicity. This game is to chill out, a nice change of pace from an FPS or action game.

  • @LionDreadLocks It's just a relaxing, chilled out experience. There is no real gameplay except collect lots of smaller things to make yourself the biggest.

  • this looks awesome and super boring at the same time... remarkable

  • @flopo79 hehe :]

    I like it, it's relaxing.

  • I can't get the Expansion PAck for flOw PC!

  • @SuperUniverse555 Aww :[ maybe they'll release it soon

  • Reminds me of Electroplankton on the DS....*mesmerised*

  • its so boring!

  • its like the cell stage in spore

  • play osmos. kind of like this.

  • @RootOfChaos Yep, i just got Osmos on my iPad yesterday and think it's really cool.

  • @iF3llOffaBr1dge Ya, pretty much. You just get bigger and more complex. It's the relaxing sounds and colours that really make this game, not the "trying-to-get-as-big-as-you-can-and-eat-everything-in-sight". Although that is fun too :]

  • this reminds me of final fantasy: The Spirits Within. :)

  • Ah yeah. That reminds me to watch that film again, haven't seen it in a while.

  • Can somebody tell me how to get the "souvenir" trophy? i must make 10 sreenshots.. but HOW!!!?

  • I found out that you need the expansion pack for all the trophies.

For one trophy were you have to take 10 screenshots (Memory), you need the expansion pack.

  • @RPGash

Thank you, thats why i could not find the weird organism wich look like a 'camera'

    Peace!

  • @RPGash its the expansion free?

  • @Hige1031 The current price for the Flow expansion is £2.39. Couldn't tell you how much is it for US right now, but thats about $3.45.

  • its free now hurry get it

  • I read that it was US and Canada only.

Also only until 9 PM PST 13-Feb-2010.

  • That is soo insane.

Would you recommened me getting this?

  • If you like a slow, chilled out game, with cool graphics and sounds, then yes.

You'd probabily finish it in maybe two or three hours, but its so relaxing, you wouldnt mind playing any of the 'levels' again.

It's like 'Flower' by the same developers.
