  • Nice tune! Do you have the flip side?

If you do could you please share that one also..Thanks :-)

  • Young Michelle Scotti's accent is evident on this. She also recorded "Lonely Little Drummer Boy" in '64, but neither song cracked the Billboard Hot 100 -- the year of Beatle-mania.

  • @pgh45rpms Thanks for the updates on her other songs...it is appreciated.

  • Sounds a lot like a middle-school Cyndi Lauper.

  • the other side Girls Camp got some airplay in Boston

  • @bunkerhilled Thanks for that update.

  • Someone needs some cheese with their whine. LOL. I would love to hear Brian Hyland's version of this song!

  • Interesting, but not the original version - Brian Hyland did the orginal version in 1963

  • Brian did do the original version but it was not promoted as such. It was simply the B side of another single and the chart action was not memorable. Michelle's version was promoted and released as the A side.

  • lol - promoted or not doesn't matter. Being a B side still makes Brians the original version. I just thought you should correct the title comment - but thats up to you. Thanks for posting this either way :)

  • You're welcome & you have your point & it's taken. I'll change the heading to read something like "earlier version of".
