  • At least the power to weight ratio has improved...

  • i cant belive..

  • What an idiot. The height of a double decker is always displayed in the cab.If a bridge is lower than 16ft then there has to be a sign stating what height it is.If one is less than the other, you don't go!

  • @ robertgift There's more than just body work here. You'll have to deal with transmission work, framed

  • i drove the 24 route for a few years and you can get under that bridge if you keep in the middle of the rd.it was obviously driver error but he was on diversion and he did not know where he was going as his garage is in stockwell. he would have been looking for where he had to go next

  • bet the bus driver got fired major

  • the bus driver carried on until the whole roof was gone? must of been like " whats that loud scraping sound?"

  • Could he have continued in the CENTER?

Should have driven it away. Not tow.

  • did you take them pictures from the park next to where the crash happened??

  • it's a convertable bus!!!

  • @polar888ice wouldn't have helped - he wasn't lost. He didn't go the wrong way. It's an arched bridge....he should have taken the centre of the road when going under.

  • Driver Error.

  • If he had gone down the middle it would of been alright.

  • gurantee..a pakistani driver

  • surely when driving something like this you are aware of how high it is?

  • So that bus is probably a write off then? The main bars have been bent

  • the trouble here is that the driver was more than likely on single deckers for months, then suddenly the operator gives the driver a double-decker, and when you concentrate on the road any passenger's the traffic and then get diverted things like this happen, I drove coaches for 36 years and some school buses and with the double deckers I always had to think of trees and low bridges, hopefully this driver had no passengers upstairs, I hope the driver was okay, I feel for this person,

  • @1946hastings True! I served into Birmingham

  • i think that a service supervisor shound have driven the detour route befor thay let any coaches go that way

  • someone is in trouble or fired. look like a new coach..or a very modern one if not new

  • nice coach :-)

  • wow! a convertible double decker! They should make more of theses for London!

  • They do lol they r called tour busses

  • @canthaguild lol i know, i meant for public transport

  • ahh yea would be kinda cool apart from the fact it rains in UK most of the time but on our two sunny days a year be ok

  • @canthaguild true XD

  • what was the numberplate of it?what did they do with the bus?

  • @yeehah188 They fixed the bus and now it is in London service.

  • it looks better

  • surely that was offroute be pretty strange for the bus company to send a double decker on a route with a bridge like that

  • Looks like a dennis trident enviro 400

  • Fast way to get a tour bus.

  • They all survived?

    Before I make a silly joke... : - )

  • convertible!

  • too bad about the crash, those are the coolest buses in the world though

  • camprio bus hehehe

  • now he has a tour bus

  • did u edit this and coverup the logos? or was the bus really logocovered?

  • no this was covered upby the bus company

  • @VectraD2X Even though it was blatantly obvious because of the livery that it's a London Central/London General bus? Poor attempts by go-ahead!

  • @VectraD2X we can all tell its go-ahead

  • Search for:

"Camden accident bus hits bridge job vacancy"

on YouTube and you see the man cover the logo at 25s

  • @psd3210 Lmao GO-AHEAD LONDON (named London General at the time) obviously didn't want to be humiliated :P.

  • Why does have to be Enviro400?! :(

  • at least its not a routemaster lol

  • Volvo had a copied model that is 99.9% the same as the Dennis Enviro 400/ 500

  • The fat bald bloke, looks like a right nonce!

I believe he washes the buses now, what a come down from manager, funny how the mighty fall!!!

Even funnier is how he got employed by a bloke who he stitched up and, got the sack the conniving Cunt!

the bus company was London General they have alot of open to buses i think!

  • now it`ll be used as a sightseeing bus!

  • @paunocu now we know how they're build^^

  • now i no how 2 make open toppers :D

  • this happened just after metroline lost the contract 24s

  • no Metroline beat them to it when they used to run 24 as a bus driver myself that would be my worse nightmare to go under a low bridge

  • Why couldnt it of been one of those Scania Olympus, not an enviro, especially E2.
