Great pick technic! I'm not a fan of pick bass player (I rather the fingers, but I think people do what they prefer), but congratulation for playing the triolets with the pick, that's not easy at all.

The whole point in bass is to be able to play with feeling with fingers in both hands, the pick just sounds like it's robotic, playing with fingers is a technique you HAVE to learn if your a bassist.

Those are triples steve harris plays...not w/e the hell your playing. And people don't criticize him for using a pick but for using a pick on a song that uses fingers. He should learn to expand his style to using a pick and/or his fingers.

I'm not very fond of picks either but it sounds great wither way, I think fingers give a smoother sound though.

I find it amusing when people comment on a video and just say stuff like use your fingers especially when they don't even comment on the sound of the video. Using a pick or your fingers doesnt mean you are technically better or not, bassists who use their fingers tell me they find it really hard to use a pick because they learnt fingerstyle and vice versa, its not about what you hit the string with, it's how you do it and the sound that creates. Most people who comment about bass don't prob play
