Well I love this song. I was 13 at the time. I Am Greek If I were a director and was casting for Romeo and Juliette, I think I'll would have picked him
I like the Yugoslavia Songs from the 70`s, especially this and the Songs from 73-76, they are all beautiful. Sadly i don`t understand the Words, but it sounds very sad!
The song is bautiful fill of soulful loss of love by a Croatian Artist Named KRUNOSLAV SLABINAC .. He is still alive and is a legendary singer of traditional Croatian Folk Songs & popular todays music as well.
Nice song...His costume however is astonishingly ridiuclous
I think during 60s and 70s Europe was rather suspicious towards Yugoslavia because it was a communist country..That's why its results were usually poor
Yugoslavia had high places in 60s & 80s . In 70s , only "Muzika I Ti" (1972) was in top ten (9th) , i thought Yugoslav entry for 1976 was really underrated
The costume was in keeping with Tradition.. something old something NEW.. the Artist is Croatian extremely popular (Krunoslav Slabinac) ..still alive and kicking... as I said earlier WHEN he performed WE ALL FELT LIKE WE WERE HIS GUESTS... If you only understood the words & the Soulful meanings .. (The people were not communists-Just victims of world order at the time)... Kindest regards to you
It is very interesting to actually read positive reviews for this song because up till now, I was convinced that I was the only person in the world who LOVES this song:) The colision of voice and music gives something verym very powerful...
hey... i have a suggestion... the songs are not similar... not at all.... but try listening to "ostala si uvijek ista" .... maybe you will also like it ... try it... any version you want...
summercos, this song is almost 40 years old and you obviously don't understand it. This is the song that jumpstarted Kico's very successful career. He is still singing.

FUCK YOU bunch of self-centered Eurovision jury retards for ignoring this monument of artful sincerety!
To me this is the legitimate and natural winner of the 1971 song contest...

Ova pjesma od Kice iz 1971, je bolja od one Halo Halo iz 1982, sto bi trebalo da zvuci bolje i modernije.

you are 100% right. yugoslavia never had a good result not because of its songs but because of the west.

Yugoslavija was partner of west back then, unlike Serbia today.
