i always use eCampus you can buy used or new, you can sell, and you can even rent from em now. if you use the promo code GOLDFISH youll get 5% off your order.
I had great luck with Chegg. I saved $400 on textbooks as an incoming freshman! The books were in great shape, shipped fast and included the CDs. I advise people to stop buying textbooks from the bookstores and rent them instead! Save an extra 5% with promo code CC101071. Use the same code and get an extra $5.00 when selling your old used textbooks.
I use chegg com to rent my books. I saved $500 this semester. All you do is search of the book in their website then you can rent them for that semester. You can also add more time or just rent it for 3 months if you are taking one of those short semesters. They shipped them to you and then the shipping back cost is included on the price you pay at the begging.
perfect timing! i just found a book on the site you told me about for 26 bucks... i bought it new from the bookstore for 102 dollars! I'm taking it back tomorrow... thx so much! :D
I usually spend between $100-$300 per term (that's only 11 weeks remember) and it's true... they literally only give you like $15-$50 back if you take perfect care!
there is also an APP for the ipod touch and iphone. Where you actually take a picture of it and it find the cheapest price. Uhm i believe its already out..i saw something on youtube
HOUSE FULL - means when it is the holiday off from college and you go home to a housefull of people and neighbours you have nit idea in heck who they are, when all you are craving is some free food to eat and maybe a toddie from the rents booze counter :)
Chris, I went to college when we didn't have laptops yet and had to type 20 page reports on an electric typewriter. Sometimes I would visit a friend and use his Mac and one time I lost a paper because the computer crashed.

KevinDR1987 2 years ago
Why can't colleges lend you books like they do in elementary, junior high, and a senior high, and only pay if they need to be replaced or rebound?
Why do we have to buy our own books and can't return them even if there is nothing wrong with them.
