Lee is truly the exemplary premier world mustang pilot. Probably more hours in one than any other active mustang pilot at present. Nice flying, Lee.

The announcer should credit Nils Skrubb at Packard for redesigning and perfecting  the engine called the Packard Merlin

i love the way he "lays on the coal". that merlin is still an engineer work of art. the internal combustion engine perfected. awesome.

The "other mustang" is from a movie clip- it's tied into the music that he first uses in the performance. I believe the movie is "Empire of the Sun".

Yes, the music is from Empire of the Sun, just before the surprise Mustang bombing and strafing attack on the Japanese airfield. Great special effects by Steven Spielberg, but yes, too bad it doesn't have the sound Lee is making as the only sound. Was lucky enough to fly Crazy Horse 2 in August, 2006.
