  • haha thank you, i understand what your talking about, right now im just trying to make rough drafts, it all comes out different everytime i play it but when i record it comes out worse than i imagine it sounding, i have 7 songs i want to record but i want a band to fill the voids of it all

  • songs have 2 or more variations of rhythm or lead melody.

    + if you were play rhythm, which i believe that is. you need to work on your timing.

    you cant just speed up and slow down at your own whim. if you play with others, you will always create issues when they try to play along.

    your fine if your a one man band i guess... but idk, try something in 4/4 or 3/4 and get yourself a metronome. it will help wonders =D

  • are you using the same chords as your other song? effects don't cover that up..

    and sorry your intro is wack. try using an actual scale for that. maybe lydian or a dorian.

    if your new to scales start with basic 5 note (pentatonic) scale.

    and sorry but what are you doing at 3:50-? if your trying to do stop timing... don't...

    maybe try coming up with other melody's. 5 minutes of the same thing starts to sound bad to the ear.
