1) All of the Prophets were appointed not by their people, but by Allah (swt). Truly Islamic leadership can come from Allah (swt). When Musa went to the mountain for forty days, he appointed a leader. Appointing leaders SOLELY through popular vote is actually an innovation. They must be appointed from a previous leader or directly from Allah (swt).

The word Unity is fine but I will chose to remain loyal to Aba Abdillah and agaisnt Bakriya, Omariya and Umaya or Yazidiya sect! my point is that we should not focus on people and be muslims to God. Sunnis love God, all the Prophets, Al il Bait and the Sahaba. But we do not exagurate at all. God of course above all. Prophet Mohamed, pbuh, infallibility is mentioned in the Quran , explicitly, and conditioned by the fact that he receives revelation from God. that's why we believe in his infallibility. AL Il bait and el Sahaba, we believe in their goodness but not in there infallibility since no evidence otherwise exist.
All the previous religion started, due to satin, to glorify people instead of God. Even the Kufar in Mecca, they worshiped idols and these idols were good people in the past so they thought that by asking them something God will respond. Some people exagyrated in Ali, RA, some who are el Khwarig , hated by the Sunni and Shiaa, thought that he is Kafir, astaghfur Allah. Others , imagine that , consider el yazid ibn Mowaia to be second to Prophet Mohamed.
another thing to add,you said that the Imamah should be designated by God. now the Shia has many sects, starting from those who say that God is incorporated in Ali, RA, to those who say that ِ Ali, RA, should have been the prophet instead of Prophet Mohamed,pbuh, to the Ismaili to the zaidiah and many many Shias, who disagree on exactly who should have been the Imam after Imam Ali and el Hassan and el Hussein. In fact the texts of the Quran and Hadith were mentioned by the prophet and all the followers followed it on there own and did not wait for an annexed interpretation unless they did not understand something. The hadith of SAlat el Asr in Banu koraiza is a vivid example.
in the life of the prophet many cases Companions made IGTIHAD, that is they interpreted the texts of the prophet Mohamed on there own and the Prophet pbuh, supported them., They were rulers of areas far from el Madina and they applied the Islamic law on there own.
if you are saying that we need continuous guidance then why there is no Imam right now, why there are many maulanas in Shia, what are they doing. God said in the quran, that the deen , religion, is completed and that God's bless upon us is fulfilled and that God have accepted the Islam as a religion to us. Same statement said by the prophet, PBUH. explaining a text is just like, in the sense of effectivness, making the text even more important.
If Imam Ali, RA, accepted their Cilpha then you should follow him. We always mention Asha because Shia say that she is not good. we never said that they have immunity. in the Quran also, said that if his , pbuh, wives were not good then he should divorce them and that God will replace them, this did not happen right. Also, the wives of prophets who were going to hell both didn't believe in God.
When prophet Moses talked to God, he was asking God that Aron become a Nabbi like him. he has no right to appoint some one as a prophet of God. Abu Bakr, RA, was appointed by the prophet Mohamed , pbuh, to be the Imam in prayer during his sickness. that's why he was chosen by every one to be the Caliphate. Prophet Mohamed,pbuh, said many hadith about the Goodness of Abu Bakr and Omar and Othman RA.

Hadith Ghadeer, doesn't speak about the sucessorship of Ali, RA.Let me clarify;first if something that is so fundemintal in ISlam it should be clarified , right. The Hadith said nothing about that he is the successor of the prphet at all. Second,this hadith , which is the strongest evidence for the Shia, though it isn't strong at all,is Motawater, then why the Shia say that Sunnis erased all the Hadith related to Imam Ali, RA. let me tell you historically how many Sunni and Shii. First, in the past when you say Shii you mean the ISmailii Shia not the Gafari Shii. There was a very strong state, which is the first Shii state, called the Fatimia state , in Morocco and Egypt. This state was even stronger that Iran of now a days. The one who ended this state, and diminshed the Ismailii Shia sect, was Saladin , ofcourse we all know who he is. The Gafari Shia, was an extreme minority in the past until the Safavid tate.
this leads to the second note, which is that people did not take the side of Moaiwa and left Ali, RA, no way. he literally discarded the time of the Righteous sucessorship of Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman, and Ali, and jumped to the time of Mowai's kingdomship. which took place 30 years after the death of prophet Mohamed , pbuh. First of all, saying that there is a split after the death of the prophet (pbuh) is incorrect because it took place in the public, all the companions including Ali, RA, agreed on the successorship of Abu Bakr , RA. The sunnis madhabs even to this day are warring with one another, the hanafis and hanbalis have killed each other more than any other inter-muslim warfare. Today the wahabi/salafi sunnis are doing to same against all the muslims. The sunnis cannot even agree with each other on akeeda or even how to pray (salah), where as shiaism remain as a united force

Very informative talk. Most of his saying make sense but I don't agree with him when he says that he is "shia'a". Alhamdulilah, I am a Muslim (follower of Islam) and I am not sunni or shia but just Muslim. In my opinion we should throw the books written by sunnis or shia's and follow the Quran & authentic ahadees. May Allah guide all of us to the right path. The Muslims should listen very carefully to the last sermon/address of Prophet (PBUH) and they may find the answer to these issues.

@dontabuseplz the problem is that the 'authentic ahadees' are different for Shias and Sunnis. the Sunnis accept hadith from the likes of Abu Hurayra whereas the Shia don't. The Shia take many hadith from the Imams whereas the Sunnis have very few.

If you read the tradition of Ghadeer-e-khum, a widely narrated tradition, the Prophet (saw) stopped an incredibly large crowd of people in the middle of the hot desert near the pond of Ghadeer, stacked up the camel saddles, and raised the hand of Imam Ali (as) and said, "Whoever i am his Mawla, Ali is his Mawla". Subsequently, the people present gave their bayah (allegiance) to Imam Ali (as).

They must be appointed from a previous leader or directly from Allah (swt).

The word Unity is fine but I will chose to remain loyal to Aba Abdillah and agaisnt Bakriya, Omariya and Umaya or Yazidiya sect! my point is that we should not focus on people and be muslims to God. Sunnis love God, all the Prophets, Al il Bait and the Sahaba. But we do not exagurate at all. God of course above all. Prophet Mohamed, pbuh, infallibility is mentioned in the Quran , explicitly, and conditioned by the fact that he receives revelation from God. that's why we believe in his infallibility. Even the Kufar in Mecca, they worshiped idols and these idols were good people in the past so they thought that by asking them something God will respond. Some people exagyrated in Ali, RA, some who are el Khwarig , hated by the Sunni and Shiaa, thought that he is Kafir, astaghfur Allah. If Imam Ali, RA, accepted their Cilpha then you should follow him. We always mention Asha because Shia say that she is not good. we never said that they have immunity. in the Quran also, said that if his , pbuh, wives were not good then he should divorce them and that God will replace them, this did not happen right. let me tell you historically how many Sunni and Shii. First, in the past when you say Shii you mean the ISmailii Shia not the Gafari Shii. There was a very strong state, which is the first Shii state, called the Fatimia state , in Morocco and Egypt. This state was even stronger that Iran of now a days. The one who ended this state, and diminshed the Ismailii Shia sect, was Saladin , ofcourse we all know who he is. The Gafari Shia, was an extreme minority in the past until the Safavid tate.

Very informative talk. Most of his saying make sense but I don't agree with him when he says that he is "shia'a". Alhamdulilah, I am a Muslim (follower of Islam) and I am not sunni or shia but just Muslim. In my opinion we should throw the books written by sunnis or shia's and follow the Quran & authentic ahadees. May Allah guide all of us to the right path. The Muslims should listen very carefully to the last sermon/address of Prophet (PBUH) and they may find the answer to these issues.

@dontabuseplz the problem is that the 'authentic ahadees' are different for Shias and Sunnis. the Sunnis accept hadith from the likes of Abu Hurayra whereas the Shia don't. The Shia take many hadith from the Imams whereas the Sunnis have very few.

@xerojreffaj This might be a problem for sunnis and shias but for Muslims it is very simple. Hadees are "saying of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)" whether it is from Sahabi A, B, Hurayra (RA), Ali (RA), and a true Muslim should believe in all as far it doesn't contradict Quran.

The shia are Muslims to the shaytan. Their orgin comes from the jewish tribe called Ibn Saba. They killed all of the companions of Rasool Allah Sala Allah Aleyhe Wa Salaam and they used the shaada to disguise them selves. We can't call them kufars because their tongues have testified in Allah and Rasool Allah Sala Allah Aleyhe Wa Salaam. Yet we can prosecute them as Muslims and hand out their punishment to their degree of kufur.

@008877ify thats right, Abu Bakr did usurp the caliphate of Imam Ali, whilst Imam Ali and the rest of the Prophet family were burying the body of the Holy Prophet.
The Likes of Abu Bakr and Umar and a few other 'Companions' decided t meet at sakifa and decde among themselves who should be the caliph, rather then being at the Burial of the Holy Prophet.

Please brother, don't be afraid to hear an alternative view of the history you were raised with. Has a leader as great as Prophet Muhammad (saw) ever died without leaving a successor? Don't you think the Prophet would leave a leader after his demise? Could he not predict the fitnah that ensued his death? These questions are so basic and their answers are just as simple.
The Prophet left the person with the greatest level of taqwa to be the leader after him: Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib.

This is from sunni hadiths and is in agreement with al-Quran. What it means is that the shia of Imam Ali a.s. are the true followers of Rasulullah s.a.a.w. salaams
