  • What would be better this or Dell U2410?

  • Got the monitor a few days ago, replacing a 17'' CRT (CTX PR705F), so far quite impressed... Playing warsow(q3 CPMA-like) and HL1 AG and yes, you can feel a slight input lag compared to the CRT (and of course the refresh rates >.<) but it's not such a huge problem for me it seems. Got used to it and I'm playing at about the same level as before, bumped the FOV to 140 in warsow, could do more I guess... Got it mainly because blender2.5 kinda requires large resolutions :D.FW900's too expensive :-(

  • @vafanskajaheta it does the job ; normal people (I mean people who is not hardcore gamer) cant feel the diffirence ; but I can feel the ghosting effect in fast games like CS source. What I do right now is disabling the motion blur LOL. on the other hand ;this Ips panel is awesome if you have eye proplem with monitors. btw

If you are kind a fps gamer ; u must go with one of the 120hz lcds

  • Wow I never knew SC2 looked so good with a shaky camera and FLV compression. It must be the quality of the ZR24w.

  • Also planning to get this to replace my 4:3 LCD. My main motivation? Starcraft 2 :-)

  • does it support 75hz?

  • Do you have calibrated the monitor? if so, what are the settings? =)

  • BTW, I'm typing on my ZR24W! I've gotta say that except for the grainy whites produced by a panel, everything else is perfect. The grainy panel's actually starting to grow on me. I think it's meant to prevent my eyes from too much "bright light" exposure. I have relatively sensitive eyes and one thing I don't want is to go blind!

  • @zeth006 Why can't you tone brightness down to fix the problem?

  • But yeah, as another person asked, could you do a review of this monitor? I'll have to assume from your willingness to show this vid you like this monitor--that alone says a lot. But if you're open to it, I think a lot of us would really enjoy seeing the ups and downs of this monitor.

  • I'm looking into buying this puppy as well...

  • Will you do a short review of the monitor? :)

  • @mike82y nothing like that...its perfect
