  • So how much of this tea and how often a day should you consume? Can it be taken every day for a long period of time or should you take breaks?

  • @Alenushka7 All of the herbs in this infusion are considered 'tonics', which basically means that they are safe to consume consistently over the long term. Taking a break from them is not necessary, although after a while you might find that you feel like taking a break just to have a change. It's the same as eating the same food all the time - it gets a bit repetitive! The bottom line is - they are perfectly safe to consume as much as you feel you need to... :)

  • @ThreeTreasureTonic Thank you for an answer, I am ordering those herbs already))))

  • thank you for sharing your knowledge, i´m learning a lot from you. i live in the austrian alps - so i´m very lucky to have fresh spring water running out of my tap - and for the last two years i head a green juice with freshly picked nettles from the garden as often as possible. helped me a lot with physical and emotional cleansing.

i really appreciate your good work, you do such a valuable service, thanks again!

    take care, much light

    tina

  • thanks for the vid! where do you get your ingredients? and do you leave the lid to the jar on for the four hours?

  • @MyBodyMyLab Reishi doesn't really work as an infusion. It is too woody and fibrous and needs to be cooked for a while in order to extract it properly. On the other hand you could use the concentrated extracts, but again this has already been extracted, so an infusion is not necessary. Generally, herbs that are difficult to extract from are barks/roots etc, and may need decocting to extract properly. Some roots can be infused, but leaves and aerial plant parts a great for this method...

  • Watched this last night and made an infusion with nettle. Love it. You articulate ideas really well. I'm wondering if you ever use anything like reishi to make infusions? Are there any herbs that absolutely should not be infused?

  • @jodydceuro I tried to send you a message as the allocated space for comments isn't exactly vast... Your youtube page however, is "currently unavailable"... whatever that means?

  • @jodydceuro That is definitely an option. Regurgitated special brew actually makes for a better end product I find. Less fizzy. Otherwise you can opt for excelsior or warhammer or something that already tastes flat... How's it going anyway Jody?

  • @ThreeTreasureTonic thanks for the advice :) yeah mate i'm really well, still skating alot. Just recently became DC team manager for the UK team which is cool. how are you? sounds like you're eating well!

  • hi paul, with the chia porridge can you soak the chia seeds in special brew rather than water?

  • @JBC814 I'm not really sure about that to be honest. It is about 90% silica, but I'm not sure how usable it is. It is oven-dried as well, but again I'm not sure how that effects the absorption of silica. Something that needs more research!

  • Does food-grade diatomaceous earth (DE) qualify as a source of silicon? I don't believe it's bio-available, but it is considered anti-parasitic.

  • @Danodfyful If you are in the US then the best place to get these specific herbs from would be Mountain Rose Herbs. As for the jars, any decent hardware store should stock them... For UK/EU residents, The Organic Herb Trading Company is the best source for cheap, bulk herbs.

  • Great video, where do you get your Jars and herbs?

  • thanks for invitation and great infos

  • @DopeDivinity Glad you got that off your chest! Not sure who that is though...

  • Wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

P.S. You look like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. I really just have to get that off of my chest

  • Thank you also for the invite...I wrote the recipe down for this, can't wait to make it !

Looking forward to watching more of your videos ! Thanks !

  • Thank you for the invite, hapy to have discovered your channel. May i just ask your advice please? i suffered for years of stones in the kidneys. i have been told that i must not consume green leafy vegetables because of the calcium oxalates which build up in my kidney. Could it be that i am unable to metabolize this "good quality calcium" and should avoid all kind of green leaves? including nettles? Thank you in advance for your reply. i love your channel and will start vieuwing it regularly.

  • really enjoying your channel

my mind had nothing to say while watching this

    my attention was all yours

    connecting

    yes

    peace my friend

  • @themoviebuff101 Sorry, I should have mentioned that in the video... Once strained, it must be stored in the fridge and will be good to use for no more than 36/48 hours. If you want to reheat it as a tea, just warm it on the stove until you begin to see steam - then drink. There is really no need to cook it.

  • @rui27marne yeah... sauerkraut... kefir culture... sometimes biodynamic raw dairy... Probiotics are pretty damn important! What are your thoughts on fermented foods?

  • do u do any fermented foods?

  • @KissingSchool You're welcome... Chia porridge is so easy to make - soak some chia seeds in water (or herbal infusion in this case). When they become thick and gelatinous, you can just eat them as porridge. You may want to add something to sweeten it, or whatever you like to flavour it naturally. It is very, very nutritious - complete protein, omega 3 and 6, high in fiber etc... An awesome ingredient!

  • I love your videos, thank you so much. The only chia I've met is a chia pet...many moons ago. So how do you make chia porrage? cheers

  • @THUGOONIE You can add a pinch of Himalayan salt to every litre of filtered water and stir it in until it has completely dissolved. Alternatively (and possibly a bit better) you can add 10 drops of Himalayan salt brine to each litre of water. These methods will restructure and remineralise the water very well. You can also add a squirt of fresh lemon juice to reinvigorate it. Leaving it out in the light of the full moon also restructures water... Watch my recent video on salt brine.

  • thanks,

    great upload,

    loving your channel...

    you know your stuff

    :-)

  • @liverawkstar keith where are u man!!!! i miss ur videoes!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rui27marne

    soon to be back on

  • Can you tell me a good recipe or formula for re mineralizing the reverse osmosis water? how much salt , what kind, any other tips,? i would appreciate it thanx.

  • @THUGOONIE If you have fresh nettle, you will need to dry it before you can infuse it. Also, nettle leaf should only be harvested for ingesting throughout spring when the greens are young and fresh. They become toxic after the growing season. If you are in the U.S. you can buy bulk herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs, whereas those in the U.K. and Europe can get their bulk herbs from the Organic Herb Trading Company.

  • @ThreeTreasureTonic , Thanx , ill check the mountain rose co. out.

  • @ThreeTreasureTonic

Thanks for the info. Learning loads already from just a few minutes on nettles ;D

  • Very interesting think ill be making some with my live nettle today.Where do i get horse tail and oat straw? whole foods? wish i could grow myself n use fresh.

  • I know this type of infusion to make tee from hart roots, wood and bark. The best to take from mixed herbs is to do the herbs into cold water over night and heat it up next morning just once to solve the rest of nutrients in the plants , than put the herbs away after 20-30 sec.
