  • @MrBigs72 Again do research. Italy has the worst labor unions in the world besides France. The benefits and pay they have to give their employees leaves them in a situation where they cannot compete within a global market. VW and Ford are literally hacking away at Fiats market share around the globe, because they offer better value reliability and longevity, not to mention factories where the cars are sold. Chrysler made big cuts to unions and pensions and have a bigger dealer network.

  • zero succes in USA. nobody likes small cars in Us, Look at Smart...Succes ZERO...

  • @jonnydorobantul I hope your being sarcastic. Check any NPD data for the last 2 years and you will see the exact opposite. The trend is completely based on fuel prices and how far Californian fascist emission regulations can spread through the U.S. The Ford Fiesta outsold the Fit in October which was the top selling small car model. The Cruze has been very successful since it release and sold over 5K in October. But the Pickup still is king of sales, that will never change.

  • @flatblackstrat very nicely put. I did read that the 3.6 was started out as a joint engineering project by Chrysler and Damiler before the divorce. regarding the dual-cluth automatic. Although they mentioned Fiat's dual clutch. if you visit the dodge site in Australia (yes I have no life) they offer a Getrag dual-clutch automatic on the Journey. So I wonder if that particular transmission might show up in some of the domestics here that have more power than the Fiat's Tranny can handle.

  • those look like expensive roller skates...

  • looks like they are using neon headlights what size motor? and price? ive got a 04 sebring and it flys not so sure this would cut the morning commute might find it in the slow lane lol but it may be a quick car with the six speed auto must be cvt need more info for this die hard pentastar owner

  • @carrabec99 Engine for USA is 1.4i 16V 105CV. Price, no idea xDD but the first 500 units were sold =D and in some time the 500 will have a 1.4 Turbo 165CV and more maybe with his famous limited edition =D

  • @Lambotractor will there be a 4 door? what kind of mileage are we talking about too? not that my sebrings doing any better i bought it due to price and size now im thinking about the mileage will defin will test one out when they come down in my price range not that im poor but choose not to pay over $10,000 for used due to im looking at building a house and other future plans dont include $40,000 dollar vehicles. not that the 500 is going to be that price lol ty for answering so soon

  • @carrabec99 No, 500 4 door doesn't exist =D maybe in the future a version called Giardinetta could have four doors, maybe ! With mileage do you mean fuel autonomy ? well, the 500 because of his little engine, his consumption per 100km will be around 5 liters, then if I did the calculation correctly xDD, in your country, this translates to 437.5 miles per tank =D Anyway if you like your Sebring, you can wait for the new model of this car, with new FIAT-Chrysler engine for better fuel effciency.

  • @Lambotractor The new 200 engine I.E. 3.6L pentatstar was engineered and produced only by Chrysler, they may have had input from Daimler though. Fiat had no part in that engine. Although they may be adding mulit-air to it in the future. Other than that the 200 is mostly an American car even the styling of it was implemented in a prototype well before Marchionne got to the company. The dual clutch transmission is the only Fiat element on this car.

  • @flatblackstrat I wasn't talking about that engine =D I refer to a small one with the same power and much better fuel efficiency =D also the interior of the most new Group Chrysler cars, including 200, were very modified by FIAT =D

  • @Lambotractor Sorry my friend but all work done on the 200 was internally Chrysler. Lead exterior and interior design were both headed up by pre fiat merger employees. Marchionne just gave the order to make it happen. Fiat still doesn't have a lot of resources stateside yet. Even their own 500 is not going to see production in the U.S. I also think you missed a key point about the 200c which basically is the 200 exterior wise.

  • @flatblackstrat ok. I see the old interior of 200, that's why I was thinking it was modified by FIAT, but I see for example, the new interior of some Jeep and them look very similar to the interiors of some FIAT =D

  • @Lambotractor Well the 200c was developed and released well before FIAT merged with the company, it was also developed before Chrysler went bankrupt. The new 200 is basically a 200c on the outside. The interior styling was already there too if you look at the Jeep Cherokee which was also developed before the FIAT merger as well, and only released after they merged. That car has more German in it than Italian. I think FIAT is trying to credit for things they didn't do. Any FIAT interior recomend?

  • @flatblackstrat I recomend any FIAT interior. I don't like interior of german cars and that's why I'm not agree with your idea. I said, I see the interior of some new Group Chrysler cars very similar to FIAT interiors, I said it, not FIAT !

  • @Lambotractor I looked at several Fiat interior and none them look anything like what Chrysler is using and the interiors look more German than Italian very VW esque. I think you are trying to see something that isn't there. Nearly everything I have said has been fact and not my opinion. So if you want to go on believing Fiat has done everything right than you are wrong. Fiat needed Chrysler more than Chrysler needed Fiat.

  • @flatblackstrat haha yeah sure ! maybe I'm wrong with the topic of interiors and that's human, but you are very crazy if you think FIAT needed Chrysler more than Chrysler needed FIAT ! and the why is on the news of all time before and after recent crisis.

  • @Lambotractor The news reporting Chrysler needing Fiat was an opinion and not hard fact. If you do any research most analysts believe Fiat needed Chrysler more because they have not been a profitable company for a while, while Chrysler was until recently. Fiat has terrible labor unions working against them in Italy which is keeping them from progressing as a company, they need Chrysler's factories in the U.S. to lower prices and they need Chrysler's dealer network and superior diversity.

  • @flatblackstrat sure, FIAT not acquired 20% just to save and own part of Chrysler, also it helps to sell his own cars to low prices and not so expensive in all America and that's a great help, but not so much to say Chrysler save FIAT !

  • @carrabec99 Price ! =D since U$D 15500 =D with 7 airbags, speed control, ABS, ESP and more =D

  • @carrabec99 with 105CV I mean105HP =D

  • @Lambotractor ty for the info

  • I like this car, but I will always buy big cars and Trucks...Dodge for sure.
