clearly something's wrong with her, even the robber bailed out of the window instead of sticking around with her LOL maybe she has bad B.O. or somethin'
Great Song and Great Video! Hot woman in the video too. Any guy who would behave the way THAT guy did in the video would definately be a moron. I would have been all over her in a heartbeat. Hell right on that dinner table hehe :-)
this video is not at all about women's "craving for sex"... it is stupid saying this... it is about "autism" in a relationship which logically leads to breaking up... this is obvious... the only question is whether a more interesting woman would have made the guy more "responsive" or was he totally and hopelessly addicted to his "drug"... so, definitely great song and great video
@Cuteblondie1972 Remember my dear, marriage is a road traveled together by two people. A husband giving his wife attention is only part of the equation. I refused to marry because I am convinced I would end up with a selfish woman who would eventually leave me for the next attention-getting thing. I guess some people were never meant for marriage...;)
Alan Parsons Project songs always makes me think of driving around rural New England(Maine Vermont and New Hamp.) I listened to a best of cassette tape of APP when i went up there in the fall of 1992.I was really getting into them that year.Shame Eric Woolfson is no longer with us.Was hoping for a Alan, Eric, Lenny and the rest of APP vocalists reunion tour.
My introduction into APP was in 1987, when a band from North Eastern part of the country played the Song "Eye in the Sky", and my first album was Vulture Culture.
Music - Simply Great
Lyrics - Real Life and Awesome
Vocals - Extraordinary Voices
Themes - Sentimental
OVERALL - I have all their albums and been to 3 of their shows.
You can see Alan and Eric on tv at 0:56 just for few seconds. I really like this video, like The War Of Roses style. Very 80s style. Vulture Culture is still an underrated album.
I like this video. My boy is doing the same thing to me. I hope that this thing will not happen more and more - that men ignore women cause of tv, soccer games videogames, internet, dating sites,porn..etc..sad but true...I really hope this changes
a fine selection from one of my favorite bands. plus a nice reminder of the days when music videos were about more than how many hot girls you could pay to shake their dedicates into a camera lens.
I am just getting into their music having passed it by in the 80s for some reason and loving every minute of it. So far I haven't found one dud track and I love their sense of humour. There were so many talented bands back then its incredible.
The actress in this video used to do a lot of commercials back in the 80's. I wish I knew her name. She always reminded me of Shelley Long. This is also the unedited version of the video. Thanks for posting!
i always love this song but i lost it for a while because i didnt know who did it a but it so true especially getting married i feel the mate losing out

OMG. If I had a woman that looked like that trying to seduce me like that, I'd throw the TV out the window and take care of business .A lot of guys think they can mistreat their women and take them for granted and get away with it. It may work for awhile, but in the end she'll wise up and leave you for someone better. In the end, that guy will be the loser. Love and cherish your women. Forget about trying to be a player because in the end, YOU WILL BE THE ONE THAT' GETS PLAYED.
I think the point, which obviously sailed over your sloped brow, was that some people are not ruled by primitive urges, but by personal pursuits. You are obviously animalistic and only understand physical pleasure, which is fine - that's why they have rap: for "people" like you. Please don't comment on meaningful music which you obviously don't understand or appreciate.
I don't know what your deal is, but U obviously didn't read past the 1st sentence or the slang I used. So go back and reread what I said and you'll see it contradicts EVERYTHING you said about me. As to the 1st sentence, watch 1:01-1:18 and tell me if I'm being animalistic. When you're with someone, U cherish them and cater to their needs. Don't take them for granted. THAT'S WHAT I WAS SAYING! Before you reply to "people like me",get your facts straight & leave your prejudices at the door.
How do you figure? You have to get clearance for these kind of things now. Yeah it's common, but don't compare it to theft. He flipped a nice sample, quit hating.
it's not stealing because royalties are paid when and IF the samples are cleared. and for the samples to be cleared, those who own the rights to the music to be sampled have to agree to it being used.
yep, if its flipped properly, its like preserving a song and keeping those "old" vinyl records relevant. I hope you all know that vinyl records continue to increase in sales. How do you think I found this song? yep the sample. Yet who cares what I think, what do i know?
The pretty lady is looking for attention - but 'her' man would rather have sex with the tv - just a reflection of a lot of today's relationships, I guess, with the computer substituting the tv as the 'sex' object.

To those asking/wondering, vocals are the multi-talented David Paton, who contributed vox to a number of ALP tracks and (virtuoso) bass to virtually all Alan Parson Project albums.
He was never in Supertramp. He was the driving force behind PILOT (Magic, January were the big U.S. and U.K. hits, produced by Alan Parons) and a highly sought after studio musician, member of Elton John Band, etc.
3/4th of PILOT were major musical contributors to ALP, with David very much at the forefront.
