all of you bitches gotta chill whether they sounds alike or not , or how much of a believer they are. Instead why dont you idiots appreciate their talent to produce a song that goes so hard with no foul language.
Why don't we just wait until PRo's "Dying to Live" album comes out on the 27th, then listen to that one? Crae recommended it, because it demonstrated PRo's growth in faith.
Yes, PRo should grow in his faith, but we should all too! I mean he obviously feels God's call to make music, and I wouldn't want to be the one getting in the way of God's plan..
thier really clearing the air,, they are good these guys.. i had never listened to christian music but when i prayed to GOD. i found intrest in gospel.. love 116 clique
I am sure there is a ton of docternal issues with anyone singing contemperary musci...David sang praises to the Lord and pissed off all the religious people of his day including his wife who said he indignified but it was his relationship he was celebrating ...if you can't feel pro its cause you cant relate...and I don't think any of us know if he is mature or not in the Lord...trust me not everyone who sings on the stage of your church is saved...common man praise God someone is singing music
I like PRo to an extent but I believe he should grow more in the faith before go putting out music, reason to me saying this from 1 Tim 3:6, just seems like lack of theology and other things like from the new psa v2 & redemption. just a thought not trying to hate >.< i love all my brothers!
@LUKENINE23 they're more than just rappers. they're ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which basically means they give spiritual guidance to others throughout they're music. O:
yeah, but some people (this may not be your case) rely too much on music to provide them with spiritual guidance and growth. Christian rap can either evangelize, worship, provide Godly entertainment for believers, or teach, and not all rappers are called to teach. If they were, they would also be pastors. Check out the "they'r rappers not pastors" article on rapzilla[dot]com. I hope you can kinda understand what I'm getting at.
@LUKENINE23 But they still hold a responsibility to make sure, what they talk about is in context.Just like people in the world say music does not influence people and that they can not be held accountable for what they say.It is no different for Christians because when people leave such comments like you changed my view point on how i look at God and the bible people are willing to take the credit for that. You have to take the bad with the good.Thanks.
@youngstackboy510 That's true but you also have to remember that PRo is a rapper yes he's supposed to teach through what he does (which he does). If PRo were a famous car painter you wouldn't expect him to paint a cross on the hood of every car. PRo has his faith right. just because every single line in every single song isn't directly saying I LOVE GOD doesn't mean he is wrong. God gave him a gift to rap as well as he does and PRo does his best to glorify Christ through it.
@Whursty..i dont really know wut ur talkn bout bruh, i never said his music is wrong..pro is dope he's one of my favorite christian artists..i wuz jus correcting the the LUKENINE23 guy that said we're not all called to teach, my comment had nothing to do with pro at all
@LUKENINE23 you are correct every one who can rap aren't called to teach, but everyone who can rap aren't called to rap either. Just cause you good at shooting free throws or 3 pointers don't mean you should be in the NBA. Sometimes we have to play the background regardless of our skill. Sometimes your skill is meant to support others who are called into that skill.
@2319jj haha i fee ya.. but i think that if God is callin him to be where he is now then i am sure that hes where hes supposed to be and the Lord will blesss him and his music ans listners:)
Is PRo a new believer or something? Why did Lecrae have to explain why PRo is a rapper on reach? I thought PRo has been on the christian rap scene for awhile...
@dedmanic yes, PRo has always been a Christian rapper, but if you go back and listen to his first album "the Blackout," he tends to sound a little prideful and has a lot of me, myself, and I rhymes. PSA vol. 1 was really the first time God's glory truly shined through PRo's music.
Lovin' the new album. Praise God for the change of heart! God Bless!! Can anyone find the lyrics to this whole album? I found a few but most of them are inaccurate. God Bless all!! GO HARD fo' CHRIST!!!!!!!!!
This joint is fire and so is the boi Pro!! Good combo song with lecrae they flow is buttery hotness LOL LAH Albuquerque, NM USA aka Duke City aka Tha 505 where we holla 1 1 6 !!!!!! Geaaah
I've say this about my self all the time if like the old Shay she's no longer there. I'm a new creature, made from the image of my Father which is in heaven. I'm feeling this song, it's people try to hold on to the old you. but to God be the glory cause he is nothing like MAN. Amen
Dood...gotta love seeing this. Anyone coming to Christ from being a secular hip-hop head knows the amount of beef that can be between rappers. To see this sort of unity with one cat taking another cat under his proverbial wing for discipleship is so encouraging when you actually see the fruit of it. Praise God for His work in PRo and Lecrae!

Yeah. That's a good question... They probably got fire-proof mikes to record this. I wish Lecrae and PRo did more songs together.
SuccessTHRUdaLORD 10 months ago
How did they RECORD this? They went too hard for the mics to even take that much fire.
