That is an urban myth: The myth says that gays are born in overpopulated areas as a way for the population to self-control its size. There have been gays all throughout history from all countries and in all times. It is true though that gays tend to have a moderating effect on a population since they reproduce less (although I know quite a few gays and lesbians who have kids through labs etc).

Sterotypes are hardly ever universally true. The media often shows the most flaming queens as what a gay man is like. In reality, the majority of gays are just like anybody else. I have had co-workers make gay jokes in a meeting and then I'd tell them in the same meeting that I am gay and they are so embarrassed! Then I tell them I wasn't offended by their gay joke. When they say "Why not?", I laugh and tell them that 99% of jokes are about straight people :-)

ah i asked LabSix a few questions about pipes but i wonder if you knew a bit more about the subject of cleaning them. you don't have to take them apart to clean them do you? i just got one off ebay and it's a gift for my boyfriend but i want to clean it before i give it to him. it's a Royal Duke Dr Grabow Imported Briar Estate. Do you think you could help me? :)

1. I suggest taking pipe apart as it makes it much easier to clean them

2. There are several kinds of pipe cleaners and they are all cheap, experiment to see which one works best

3. Use a pipe cleaner after every smoke

4. Don't smoke a pipe more than once in 24 hrs
