I was very disappointed with this game

and didn't feel like finishing it : /

They re-colored the same maps and you

had to do them again... LAME!

And I did not like the way they used the map.

My fav Castlevania game is Portrait of Ruin, because it was way more fun and

that's what matters :)

A bit easy, but the hard core mode you

unlock is not.

@Stigtrix I don't see how you complain about recycled areas in Order of Ecclesia when the last paintings in Portrait of Ruin are also recycled areas.

Order of Ecclesia is the Dracula's Curse of the Castleroids: the game has buildup before even entering Castlevania, and a large chunk of the game picks up when you finally get there. It's also hard, which is good.

@Stigtrix I'm surprised you say this. There are more reused areas in Portrait (paintings 5 through 8 are remixes of paintings 1-4) and the Ecclesia game as a whole is larger, with a larger number of small areas and i think a larger castle too.

yeah agreed this game is one of my fave CV games. I like Dawn of Sorrow just a much and Portrait of Ruin was really fun. SOTN will allways be the big daddy because that was the very first CV game to implement the whole Castletroid element to the series.

What's good about this game is that they actually upped the difficulty. It's like the game was made for Castlevania fans already very familiar with the basics.

Plus they kept all the quality content that fans of the series have come to expect. I have nothing but praise for this entry, IMO it easily beats out both PoR and DoS. Drac X had a superior soundtrack and nostalgia factor...but this is still a very solid member of the series.

You have to save all the villagers and I guess in the ending Balwar (what ever his name is) equips Dominus into you and you die right? I don't know I got the good ending can someone tell me?

OoE is by FAR the best Castlevania game on the DS. Maybe even better than SotN (Blasphemy!)

DoS is still fun though, and was always one of my favs.
