I remember sometime in maybe 97, this country station showed a commercial with parts of this video and maybe a Tanya Tucker song on it and reveled in saying "We don't play this old country."

"That's supposed to be some kind of selling point," I thought. I figured popular country would come around eventually, but it sure is taking a long time. At least in about 5 years, all these kids who grew up with this "modern" business will be getting older and looking for more exprience in the music.

in my opinion it is not rascall flatts's fault- it is the radio stations- I am 24 in Pennsylvania and I would LOVEEEE to hear real country like this- but they play keith urban all day and it makes me want to kill myself- i think at the end of the day rascal flatts is quality stuff and so it this- but the industry has totally shut out anything that is traditional sounding
