i bought this gun off of airsoftmegastore and for some reason its very underpowered like i would only think about 250- 350 fps would u think the same thing or is it just me ?
@halo705 well I mean you could tie a string to all of them. other than that I'm not sure. I never fielded mine. Just be sure to pick them up. Thats why shell ejecting guns aren't really good for games. Really not sure what to suggest.
if you have a reasonably small field that you play on, sure. I would suggest between .23's and .28's. De-grease and re-lube it though and clean the bolt and the bolt guide as it'll collect a lot of gunk and shavings of metal.
it's discontinued. Which means that whatever stores had when they discontinued it, was the last ones had. I looked at the main stores and didn't any so you may have to find it on e-bay.
i dont know if i should get this one or the mauser kar98 becuase they both look good but i hear the maser is better if u want a airsoft gun and not a wall mount
what do you mean? It's a push cocking design which means the spring is cocked when pushing the bolt forward. And yes that part maybe a little hard at times but I never had the right kind of lube for mine. I was only able to use Silicon lube nothing like white lithium or teflon grease. I'm sure it wasn't the spring size cuz it shoots .2's at 310 fps that would point to it being fairly weak spring. M 100 MAYBE
thank u but were can i get the spring marushin (i prefer the shell ejection 4 realism and i would snipe with it so the reloading wouldnt matter much) (also i was planing on getting a Maschinenpistole 40 (mp40) or a c712 (full auto c96 pistol[broomhandle]
they are more complicated so I'm not a fan of them, need more ammo, harder to clean, etc. though if you do go the AEG way, I'd suggest something JG, like a SIG 552,G3SG1. Or even a Cyma AK-74. Just make sure you get the version with a battery in the rear, not the front of the gun. As they too can be irritating toget in and out of the gun for recharging. Also get a better battery. I'm not sure of a decent one, but I hear a lot about 9.? NiCad or something like that. Front batterys can be hot!
well, what do you mean? is it safe? it most likely blow up in your hands, if that's what you mean. I really don't have much say in your purchase. I'm not gonna try and persuade you to get gun, like so many others. I'll simple say, look at ALL the reviews you can, compare, find what the consistency's are(the ones that come up the most probably true) and make your own decision. I bought it because I couldn't justify not buying this because people said it was the best ever, so I bought one and...
I don't regret it! Are there better guns perhaps. Are there cheaper guns maybe, but are there other guns AS fun as this one??? Probably not. and I meant It probably WON'T blow up in your hands if that's what you mean.
How solid is the plastic stock, does it feel like wood at all? And how is the weight of the gun?
I'm not going to be banging the gun around or dropping it, I just want it to feel decent while I plink around with it and show it off to friends. I can't decide between the plastic version or the full wood version offered on airsoftmegastore as the plastic one is on the edge of my price range anyway.
go plastic and get GOOD/HEAVY ammo. The plastic stock is solid enough to look and feel "respectable". Weight is around 8 lbs. The seem line is the only thing that may be a little displeasing, though unless ur looking for it, you won't really be noticing it. The wood version is terrible, the wood is NOT good at all. The plastic ver. is better looking than the real wood ver.
Alright, awesome. Wood vs Plastic was pretty much my only reservation about getting this gun. I went ahead an ordered the plastic. Thanks for the help man.

this is in NO way as good as say a TSD SD700/Well Mb03 or UTG L96. Which I'd recommend both. It's just that when looking at sniper's, you don't need fps. You want accuracy and fps doesn't equal that. If you were to cut the spring in the UTG to reduce the fps to a more mellow speed, and use SGM's w/ a t-mod, you'll be getting so good results. Same goes for the SD700. Clean them aswell.
i'm going over with sd700 cuz the jg bar 10 is ok for it's price but it's a UPGRADE platform. the sd700's internals aren't built to take huge power upgrades. bar needs alot of attention in general and can be upgraded to run along side of $1300 Maruzen L96's for around $700. Sd700 are good for people that aren't gonna be using the gun to try out sniping or just don't need alot range or punch. These are more less speculations from other reveiws i've read on it. which is better:
Tanaka Kar 98k
Marushin Kar 98k
DBOYS Kar 98k
i am looking into getting one of tese and wanted an experienced oppinion
GhilliesSniper 2 years ago
Tanaka's ALWAYS gonna have inconsistencies since it's gas. Unless you get an HPA system on it.
Marushin has both a gas and a spring one. Spring one shoots a little hot apparently so be shure to use .36's at min.
Dboys is obviously the lower quality/lower price one. So you should have lower expectations.
IF and only if you can't afford constant gas refills and 8mm ammo, get the dboys. If you can, Tanaka. If your somewhat in between, Marushin(spring)..
Du57yx91630n5 2 years ago

Kevin67401 3 years ago
pulling back is a breeze. Pushing it in is what requires some practice. it's a PUSH spring system, not the average bolt PULL kind. With the right ammo, shooting technique, hop up adjustments, cleaning, and conditions, you should be able to hit man sized target with relatively little to no trouble out to 130-150 feet
Du57yx91630n5 3 years ago
about the same as non bolt action spring guns, the majority of the noise comes from the bolt if you do it hard enough.
