VLTOR at SHOT Show 2009

I ordered a upper rec. VLTOR MUR. got it in two days. the fit was perfect,the look fantastic.A fine company.

Is VLTOR still around? Could have sworn I heard they were defunct but I'm thinking they're alive? Anyways, thinking of getting their upper as I've been looking for one WITHOUT a forward assist as I don't want to pay for that. Would it only be appropriate for a billet lower or can my Spikes lower be okay with this?

VLTOR Products are superb & I'm very excited about the Bren 10 come back. I'm very tired of seeing more & more & more polymer framed pistols. It's very refreshing to see an all steel pistol coming out. I was too young to buy one when the originals were for sale back in 1983. Thanks for the second chance VLTOR.

@thecanadianemo2009 Yes, SBR stands for "short barrel rifle" as ieatwithjesus said. The standard M4 (mil-spec wise) has a 14.5 inch barrel. Something like a 12 or a 10.5 inch barrel would be considered SBR. (At least from my understanding).

i love thier casv rail system my dad had one on his m4 when he was serving in iraq and it was very modular and i held it it didnt cut my fingers like the daniel defense rails

SHOT Show is a once a year trade show for the shooting industry. It is invite only (not open to the public) only manufacturers, retailers and the media are invited

HELL YEAH! the Bren is back. I have a real Bren in 10mm but never wanted to ruin it by shooting it too much. now i can have one that i can beat on and have the hard chome slide, VICE MODEL! well done VLTOR!

YES! Fortis "BrenTen" Vice model for me, 10mm but of course! I can't wait to get my paw around one as soon as they are available. Looks like a very, very well made pistol. Was looking to replace the Delta Elite I sold many years ago, but this is THE 10mm on my shopping list.

Vltor makes excellent products there just a bitch to get now a days especially there AR15 uppers. What makes me laugh is that people still think there made out of billet aluminum when they buy them at ridiculious price from someone. Not that it really matters since forged is just as good if not better than billet.

Yes they do, check out our video we took while shooting their full auto PKM = very well made and quality firearm. VLTOR took the original design, and the problems it's had over the years, then they designed and built a new receiver available in semi-auto, and they build Full Auto versions for our guys
