Every sound that Iceland emanates diverts my attention from the problems of the world and somehow always manages to make me feel content being surrounded by its incomprehensible beauty. I don't feel a need to justify how beautiful life is. Nor do I waste my breath trying to solve the mystery of how deep it really goes. North America needs to take a break from its fast-paced way of living and play some Icelandic artists over the radio.
