@hellfencer Actually musicians make most of their money from playing live gigs. That's why The Metal Band CROW gave away a lot of free EPs at their gigs. Downloading music is also a way to spread the band faster to other places
And thats also why the irony lies within Metallica getting pissed at napster because they got big mostly because of illegal blank tapes and bootlegs in their early days. Buying merch is another way to support the band but I don't see anything wrong with downloading music.

You should be content just writing something that takes talent and effort. I could care less about my money, I'd rather be poor.

This band is way too good to waste their time with lame vocals. It's my biggest complaint with many bands these days. Awesome riffage, ripping leads, solid rhythms, ass-kicking drums, and someone screaming or growling something unintelligibly over it all..I want to understand the lyrics! If I cannot understand them, I cannot sing along!! If it's sung in a voice that only a sewage-mutant, or the cookie monster can replicate, I cannot sing along. Oh well not buying this shit saves me money.
