This sounds more of like a piano bar background music version of the song without emotion. no offense because you played the piano part flawlessly. nice job hitting those a's in octaves too btw. overall great performance (5 stars) just give a little more umph to your vocals. =)

you need a little more depth to your voice. if you listen to billy he fluctuates his voice up and down a little bit more to give it a little more interest. this is sorta monotoneish compared to his version. in particular the 2:05 verse, and 2:36 verse. he also punches out some of the words... i don't need you to worry for me cuz i'm alrighTTTTTTT. just to put a little more emotion into it.

My singing style is depicted as very theater-ish from this video due to my use of verbrato. I don't always sing with it. If you check my other video's I sing in a different sort of style...my ultimate goal isn't where theatre is. Don't get me wrong though, I love musicals... Some of my favorites: The Fantasticks, Phantom Of The Opera, Wicked, The Producers, Chicago. But yeah, I guess I wouldn't immediately rule it out. I agree.

Yeah, certain voicings of chords... They're Billy Joel's authentic transcriptions. There's a book I have that contains the actual transcriptions of some of his songs. It's a real good book. I recommend it.
