  • Her movements are such that at any given moment during her dance, you could freeze that pose and would have a masterpiece sculpture. She is grace and fluidity of motion defined.

  • God rachel is great!!!! super amazing

  • WHAT MAGNIFIENCE! Bellydance just don't get no better than what I've seen here. You go, Rachel!

  • Not yet ;)

But you can practice yourself, be careful with your back tho.

Practice the drops first before bending, it's a great way to train your legs, and it will tell you if you are ready to go all the way :)

And be sure to use your belly when you do a bend, it has to feel like a stretch otherwise you can injure your back...

    Good luck and have fun!

    hugs

  • @bellylou1987 thanks :)

  • @bellylou1987 that is good info i usually just use my back wow i need to practice more hehehe :)

  • is there a dvd that teaches one how to do the backdrop?

  • Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • örömzene, örömtánc :)

  • out of most of the big names of tribal Rachel has the best control of hip movements shimmies, locks etc etc that follows the music, it has to be her background in Cabaret style. i love this. yay rachel!

  • OOOOO soo awsome!

    bit zoe-styled here,isn't it?

  • It was almost 100F that day. That whole weekend, the temperature was somewhere between 90F and 100F. It was freaking hot basically.

  • lol that's nothing in texas. lol no offense. It must be nice to have cool weather though. man its so hot and humid in texas all the time. ugh. :P

  • This is one of my favorite performances from her

  • i wanna know what´s the band who are playing for the best bellydancer that i never saw before...?

  • The band was made of members from other bands:

Danny Cantrell: Toids, People's Bizarre, Megaband, many others...

Peter Jaques: Brass Menazeri, Megaband, many others...

Pickle on Drums, I'm not sure what else he's in...

...and the coolest bass player who's name is escaping me.

The band wasn't technically named I guess, but these gentleman have been playing together in different projects and configurations for years and years. I love them.

  • I thought they looked familiar....So were these Megaband songs then or new ones or..?

  • Nevermind! I looked it up, it's a really beautiful song by Megaband called Bumpin' and Grindin'

  • Wow, absolutely gorgeous! What is the band playing with them?

  • It is my understanding that they were a group that just kind of came together from a bunch of other bands for that weekend. They called themselves The Brass Menagerie.

  • Wow, how'd I miss this one, just now seeing it, thanks!!

  • That was nothing short of phenomenal! Thanks so much for sharing this
