My new TSC3 is 2 weeks old and only worked for 4 days with VRS before unable to get connectivity anywhere. We ran it alongside our existing VRS (TSC2 & R8) at several different locations but nothing from the new kit but the old kit worked fine. Our distributer has been excellent and immediately sent us an external modem but still nothing. They then sent us a new TSC3 but would still not work however it does work with the external modem. Also when switching off it powers up by itself occasionally
Hooking up the TSC3 to a computer & running "Trimble Access Installation Manager" every couple of weeks has helped us greatly with the issues my firm was having. Also, 2/4 of our TSC3s have had the antenna mount pop out, our distributor is looking into for us, let yours know & they should do the same for you.
ALL - There Trimble has released a .CAB file to simply update the OS and addresses a few small glitches including the non wake from sleep, usb connectivty issues and a few others. With this update we have ZERO reports of any further issues with the new TSC3 and Ranger3 controllers.
We too are also having major issues with our TSC3
ranging from power button to device clock error and the unit even shuts down in the middle of the job. To make matters worst my distributor seems clueless.......
We also have problems with our TSC3. Last week, i have to send one for repair as the antenna came loose. Today, our 2nd TSC3 can't turn on and when it finally turned on after an hour of trying, it has a battery error saying something about the wrong battery. after a few soft reset it still has the warning and then it tried to connect to the robotic and only stop when I switch to GPS mode.
I sent it back today and now I have 2 tsc3 under repair and it's cost us too much right now.
Please keep us informed of how much help your distributor is ( I have a feeling if it has been a month then you are not very happy) and also let us know your distributors name / location etc.
If the user pushes and HOLDS the PWR button it should soft reset. We've heard of a few new controllers with power button issues. I've sold several of these, they're all performing well with several weeks in the field already.

I should have listen to my guys to wait for a year before buying this. Trimble should have done a lot of checking before they let this product out.

@TrimbleSurveyNews
I created this video for our distributor so that he could see the issue.
We purchased two TSC3 controllers.
They have not yet resolved the power button glitch – it has been over a month.
The other controller has already been replaced due to a failure of the internal radio.
