  • Stay away from snails! They reproduce like *CRAZY* and will infest your tank if it happens. They are asexual so they can reproduce with any other snail of their type. If you DO buy a snail, put it in a smaller tank or glass of water (with algae pellets for food) and keep it there for about a MONTH first to make sure it' wasn't el-prego when you bought it. The only way to get rid of them once the infestation starts is to boil and/or bleach EVERYTHING in the tank. Get a small sucker fish or 2

  • Snails worked great for me when I had green algae like I see in your video. Get the right kind and just a few become lots in a short time. ( I started with 3 and last count I had 10). Also I have found that putting the light on a timer to limit light exposure helps too. Good luck! =)

  • ok i will help you less food,no high ligth , change the 70% of the water , and if u want buy 1 or 2 plecos or snail's o and take out the fish crap ^_^

  • i need more algae on my fish tank how do i make algae so quick and if u want to get rid of those buy a plecotomous they are algae eaters
