@kokoronojinsei Hmm... well, "dei" = day, and I usually see "zu" added at the end of words to make them plural (like "s"). So I just assumed that it was "days"... now that you mention it, though, I wouldn't be surprised if it were "daze", either. I didn't really think of that option, so I didn't search around that much for an official romanization of the name... so I guess it could go either way! Whichever you prefer~

We notice how at the end when he pushed her out the way of the truck, Len smiled because he was able to save her. And Gumi also had a shadow person like Len did. So maybe she was going through the same thing constantly saving him so she would die instead. That may be why she was smiling. Because she was happy to save him.

It's only recently they discovered that they were trapped in the loop, and they are trying to find a way around it.
I'm guessing that on the 14th one of them (girl) get's killed by the pole. The day repeats by a miracle, and the two avoided the spot. Then the next day on the 15th one of them (girl) get's hit by a truck. The day repeats on the 14th again and the other one (boy) pushes that one (girl) away and gets killed by that same pole. Repeats, avoid the same spot again. On the 15th (boy) gets killed by the truck. Then it goes back to the 14th with the girl sacrificing herself.
Reading all these comments made me realize something; the Vocaloid community is really very intelligent. Whenever I look at these abstract songs like Mayfly Days, Romeo and Cinderella, and Thoughtful Zombie, I always see in-depth debates going on in the comments, which is something I rarely see with other communities. It just makes me feel really happy that a community like this is embracing divergent thinking.

Wait, so is the person mental, and then just imagening someone close to the person dying and then at the end the person kills him/her-self by being hit by a truck?I also think that it started by the two cats.but then I also think that the two cats want 'them' to die, but they make the same mistake the whole summer?and then another thought it does sound like madoka magical puella...AND, it's so sad that they keep on dying ; 3 ;...LOL, and it does kinda make me think there are DRRR!! in here too.

If its the cat that caused everything.... SOUNDS LIKE KYUUBEY FROM PUELLA MAGI. I mean like, it so fits. Homura has multiple timelines where different deaths happen. And Homura was trying to prevent Madoka's death as well, where cat eared Kyuubey was actually manipulating everything. IT FITS SO MUCH OMG.

Hmm so they're stuck in a loop where they repeat the same days over and over again with the one dieing and the girl tries to break the cycle by sacrificing herself instead of her friend huh? Okay, this is how it is: A girl is hit by a truck, which traumatizes the other girl. She lives constantly seeing the girl dieing. (The one who died first. For now, let's call her One and the other Two) After seeing One die several times, (but she wasn't really dieing, it was just Two being traumatized!) Two eventually kills herself, by running in front of a truck. THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING.

I think the boy and girl are beta-testers in a new virtual reality game (I'm referring it to Heat-Haze Days). However, an error in the game causes them to be caught in a neverending loop, stuck on the day August 14. They don't realize they're stuck in a loop because the game feels the same as when you're in a dream. It's only recently they discovered that they were trapped in the loop, and they are trying to find a way around it.
As you can see, they still haven't found it.

I'm guessing that on the 14th one of them (girl) get's killed by the pole. The day repeats by a miracle, and the two avoided the spot. Then the next day on the 15th one of them (girl) get's hit by a truck. The day repeats on the 14th again and the other one (boy) pushes that one (girl) away and gets killed by that same pole. Repeats, avoid the same spot again. On the 15th (boy) gets killed by the truck. Then it goes back to the 14th with the girl sacrificing herself.

Reading all these comments made me realize something; the Vocaloid community is really very intelligent. Whenever I look at these abstract songs like Mayfly Days, Romeo and Cinderella, and Thoughtful Zombie, I always see in-depth debates going on in the comments, which is something I rarely see with other communities. It just makes me feel really happy that a community like this is embracing divergent thinking.

I'm not really good at explaining, but basically, there's a cat in the box. The box is closed, so you can't tell if the cat is dead or alive. To know if the cat is dead or alive, you just open the box to see. A theory is the cat is dead AND alive.
Like how the pv is like, the boy and girl are alive, and yet they are dead. There's a loop going on so they are alive and dead.

@hikarisakura321 No, the theory is a little more morbid than that. In the theory you get to choose to keep the cat alive or kill it. Until the moment you make up your mind, the cat is both dead and alive.
