Dam you had a hard time killing him. You worried about hp to much. Shoulda just went all out and healed at the last min. Thats what i did took me about 2 mins to kill him. What lvl are you now btw? I just came back from a break. Lvl 89 now
the bad part of clerics is that they have no mob attacks -_- my main is a lvl 39 cleric and i'm doing pretty well with him ^^ also... is that a boy of a girl i cant tell because it's zoomed out so much.
Clerics do have a mob attack. It's called Heal. You just needa know how to heal. Once you hit my lvl (89 Priest) Thats your main mob attack. Shining Ray is just way to slow but its very flashy which is nice xD.
Himes your job is also to mob with heal, same goes with Dts,MDT,Grims, you can also do it at soul teddies but no point when you can kill them in 2-3 hits
Haha, so true, fact is that clerics are the FIRST class in the game to get a true aoe. Lightning is almost entirely flat (little down, no up) and all other mob skills either rely on a hit, or come at 3rd job.
Not only that, it's the ONLY aoe that can be used while jumping, allowing you to hit mobs on a ledge way above you (like in jr wraith). and there are monsters to train on for almost all lvls. Heals actually one of the best atk skills in the game, that's why it only works on undead, and that's why cleric are probably the easiest to train (especially when you hit himes).

You shouldnt have chosen holy arrow for your attack. You're fighting holy with holy, and that doesn't work out.

haha, 2 minutes is a long time though, I killed him in about 30 seconds on both my hermit, and my CB.

Mages have a harder time killing grendel, avg time is 90 sec-3 mins. maybe 4 if he gets all the macis on you
