hey jtakken777 your comment shows that you have not one single clue about pitch. On a drum kit are the toms shallow shell? Yes they are except the floor toms. Do you know why? The shallower the shell depth the higher the natural pitch of the drum. The shells are shallower and thicker so that they project though the full band. But you already knew that. So get your head out of ass of what a drum should look like and realize this is about sound. By the way what grade 1 band do you play in.

what the hell is with those "half drums"??
they look like shit, i thought it was a joke but them they started playing...and hey, even if they sound better in certain ways than normal drums, you CAN get the same desired quality out of normal drums. It just takes more skill as a musician...
That's also a hornpipe called Winnepeg Forger, and it was included in Calm Before the Storm. There was a grade 2 band using it for their roll of tune that year. I think it was Oran Mor.
It's obvious to my why they won drumming. Phenominal unison. However, I can't help but say that the pancake drum look silly, and I don't see the purpose unless for a 10 year old kid.
loved the first tune, found it became more or less un-exciting after the hornpipe. The drums still just do not look proper except for a kid.

The snares have wonderful pitch and clarity, but I notice some power loss especially in the roll work.
