I got stretch marks from pregnancy. About 3 months ago I got the fractional non ablative treatment done by the palomar laser lux 1540 and I only see a slight imporvemnt. My stretch marks are still there...they say it takes a minimum of 3 treatments though..but after the treatment my butt got red for 1 whole month...and looked disgusting to the point where i didn't want to do anything intimate. It costed me 1,500 for just one session..damn.
i have heard if you "Butter" your stretch marks in body lotiob really thick before bedtime and sleep it is the healthier and better way since they get "removed" my the moistur in the lotion my own stretch marks that i been having for fare to long is already reducing after 4-5 days off doing this its incrideble (just don't use lotion with parafum)

@KripDrip It is not, I had my stretch marks treated with Co2 Laser and you can barely see them now. They are not gone, it is true, stretch marks are permanent, but they're almost invisible now, you can only see them if you press my skin ;)

@Nellyluvyooh Don't feel bad. I was a model for about ten years and I can tell you that stretch marks are normal, especially after puberty. I have them myself and I'm thin. Most of the models I've seen have them too. With lighting, makeup and other things, anyone can look blemish free. I was at a swimsuit competition and women were spraying their legs with spray-on pantyhose to hide the imperfections. There are tricks you can use to hide them.
So basicaly its like burning the top layer of your skin then new skin forms until its all just new skin so do u think u could get the same results if you burned your skin lightly with a hot fork or lighter?
@Solita7777 that sounds terribly dangerous. You'll get scars, and it's different burning the WHOLE of your skin layers, since lasers only burn CERTAIN layer. You shouldn't do that.
I wouldn't care how painful it was if they could surgically remove them I would go through the pain because the end result would be worth it. No stretch marks means i could then work on getting a 4 pack or even a 6 pack but as long as I have stretch marks what would be the point of working on my stomach yeah a 6 pack with stretch marks real sexy. I went to a plastic surgeon like 10 years ago and tried to see if they could remove them with a laser and they told me it doesn't work on people of color so I guess I'm fucked unless they now have a laser that works for people with color to their skin if anyone knows please send me a message
People need to know/remember that stretch marks are in the dermis (lower layer of skin) not the epidermis (upper/outter layer of skin)... so applying creams is totally pointles, because they cannot penetrate the dermis! Maybe research skin needling your stretch marks (PLEASE research this alot first though!), derma rolling etc.

this procedure is not painless.its not intense but it feels like a painful wax job times 3 it makes the stretch marks better but it doesn't completely eliminate them your Dr. will tell you that especially deep marks from pregnancy located on the abdomen I am on treatment 1 from the abdomen area and I will do a review once I get to my 3rd treatment..Im tracking my progress now even though I havent posted the videos yet..expensive but worth it..my marks are already 40 percent better on treatment 1

@Nellyluvyooh Don't feel bad. I was a model for about ten years and I can tell you that stretch marks are normal, especially after puberty. I have them myself and I'm thin. Most of the models I've seen have them too. With lighting, makeup and other things, anyone can look blemish free. I was at a swimsuit competition and women were spraying their legs with spray-on pantyhose to hide the imperfections. There are tricks you can use to hide them.

@IamCLaudiaXoxo If they are really light they can pretty much remove them, if they are deep, dark, etc... then it can reduce their appearance.
In most cases they can barely be seen afterward.

So basicaly its like burning the top layer of your skin then new skin forms until its all just new skin so do u think u could get the same results if you burned your skin lightly with a hot fork or lighter?

@Solita7777 that sounds terribly dangerous. You'll get scars, and it's different burning the WHOLE of your skin layers, since lasers only burn CERTAIN layer. You shouldn't do that.

I wouldn't care how painful it was if they could surgically remove them I would go through the pain because the end result would be worth it. No stretch marks means i could then work on getting a 4 pack or even a 6 pack but as long as I have stretch marks what would be the point of working on my stomach yeah a 6 pack with stretch marks real sexy. I went to a plastic surgeon like 10 years ago and tried to see if they could remove them with a laser and they told me it doesn't work on people of color so I guess I'm fucked unless they now have a laser that works for people with color to their skin if anyone knows please send me a message

People need to know/remember that stretch marks are in the dermis (lower layer of skin) not the epidermis (upper/outter layer of skin)... so applying creams is totally pointles, because they cannot penetrate the dermis! Maybe research skin needling your stretch marks (PLEASE research this alot first though!), derma rolling etc.

I don't want no damn lasers on my stretch marks D: OUCCHHH ! I have them from a big growth spurt I had. I weighed like 110 pounds and I was like 4'11 <-- I was 14. And then when I turned 16 I still weighed the same and stuff, but now I'm like 5'7. So yeah. I grew really fast. And Bio oil and fucking coca butter don't do shit >:/ I've just come to accept them and live with them. And if any of my boyfriends can't except them then obviously they aren't meant for me.

the lasers are amazing from my research on Google...they stimulate the fibroblasts in the dermis to remodel collagen and elastin in normal fashion however insurance doesn't cover it so it's for the Demi Moore financial level....now in 1977, a French firm, you can google it, patented Alchemilla to treat stretch marks but I can't get my hands on the stuff....I shared this knowledge with the youtube community so that maybe someone can get it and share it's efficasy....

I was on Google and thought I'd pour our more info to the youtube public...under "scar histology" I found out.....a skin scar contains ABSOLUTELY NO skin properties...no collagen, elastin, follicles, glands, capilaries, nerves!....no wonder you can't rid them, they are barren of all normal dermis...its not really skin...

this procedure is not painless.its not intense but it feels like a painful wax job times 3 it makes the stretch marks better but it doesn't completely eliminate them your Dr. will tell you that especially deep marks from pregnancy located on the abdomen I am on treatment 1 from the abdomen area and I will do a review once I get to my 3rd treatment..Im tracking my progress now even though I havent posted the videos yet..expensive but worth it..my marks are already 40 percent better on treatment 1

I live in Canada, Mississauga and i'm getting 23 years old, i got streatch marks from giving birth to my son 4 years ago, i'm getting this treatment done tomorrow at noon .. i HOPE it works because i HATESS my streatch marks, i will let you guys know if it did . :)... oh!! and it cost me $2400 canadian to get this done but you can pay in parts.

I am not very qualified to be giving this advice but i've read enough information and spoken to several doctors and what people need to understand is stretch marks are more hormonal imbalances in skin usually from dietary changes, post weight loss, weight gain or growth spurts...results are better seen in people who got them young and took care of them quicker like a 15-16 year old who got them removed at 18-20 albeit older patients have walked away pretty happy as well. #1 tip We are all diff.

i have stretch marks on my calves, inside my thighs, back off my thighs, my butt, my lower back (along the waistline), and on my breasts. i hate it so much and i'm only 15. i use to lift weights and work out. and while i was doing that i also had bad eating habits, as well. but i don't think the eating habits ere the problem. i think just lifting weights, stretch the skin.
