i asked the same question. i was told it would cost too much to channel it and besides most of the arroyos arent concrete so it would be too muddy or debris i was told. i asked what happend to the fema funds the city gets the past 15 years and howcome the ditches werent paved. i got a attitude and a smart azz remark from the white shirt. dude there all corrupt there. i hated living there. damn meter maids never read meters. just guess. really. just flop mud in the water can. they estimate.

Why can't Alamogordo save the water that's generated when ever we have a flash flood? Where does it all go?
