Great playing! One little criticism would be that the drums are too trigger heavy. I know it's the "NWOAHM" sound, but that sound sucks! I vote for more mic's on the drums. Apart from that, I give several thumbs up, although YT only allows me to do one...

@yellowmegavidz Big thx for the criticism! I'd like to refer to the video description of "My Blurred Future". I cloud reduce the amount of software triggered sound in the whole mix, but hey... your really the first one who dislikes the drum sound a little bit. I'm also surprised that I got no Trigger flame war in one of my vidz but I like mixing miced and triggered sound together. That's my style :)

Awesome song; really amazing. I've been trying to start my own one man band, but I find it difficult to write full songs; I usually just ending up writing a few riffs and tidbits of a song. Any advice on songwriting or how you go about approaching writing a song?; it'd be greatly appreciated

@sewerdevil12 Normally I start off with riffing on guitar and recording it when I have something nice. But I always have this "it's gonna sound like this" in my head, so I know what drums I want and so on when I'm messing around. Last part is vocals. I write my lyrics onto the song, others do the other way. Think there is no real "do it like this"-answer. just be creative :)

@TheFingernails1981 Sorry, no triggers at all :) Drumset ist miced as you can see in the video. Software triggered with Drumtracker and mixed 70/30% Real/Superior Drummer sound. Don't put that trigger stamp on me :P I see it as an enhancement to the sound not a replacement.

@YSISTUDOC why clean vocals? don't need those :P If you want to start screaming without hurting yourself, go view all the fry screming tutprials out there and buy the "Zen Of Screaming" DVD's from Melissa Cross. This stuff helped me out screaming without dying every time...

The way you relate your drums to the guitar for the intro is very nice! if you mix up your drums with guitar a lil more often you sound much more melodic but i dont know what youre going for soo yet another great video especially since its your first one.
