  • Ermm, What...I don't ...Know...What to say..

    Ermm....WOW THAT WAS AMAZING!!

Write out the Tabs and i'd be very happy :L

  • Nothing screams metal like a Buick hat.

  • that was awesome

  • Iron Maiden. Nuff said.

  • Is this an regular one your using , or is this the more expensive ''standard'' version ?

  • @creationoftheworld See link in description, a link that lists my gear is there.

  • I just got this guitar for xmas, and how the duck can you play metal with that guitar?? yes, I know I'm an n00b, only been playing for 3 months.

  • @TheDangerio I just posted a new video on that.

  • @rmenga thanks! already saving the money :D

  • Awsome

  • fender guitars - with farmers in mind.

  • Comment removed

  • it can do metal different guitar types can do the same stuff like hmmm lets take grunge for an example nirvana used fender, alice in chains used gibson but yeah i guess metal is more suited for those other brands but fender still can play metal songs

  • lol @ the buick hat

    awesome video though :D

  • w...t...f.. complete awesomeness

  • @rmenga okay is this sarcasm bc it sound like metal to me

  • lmao AGAIN

  • hey mind telling me what amp your using?im trying to find a good amp for my srat too..=/

  • Hey Rick DNR again. Just pop'n around your pages to check out your playing. Very nice. Kudos! Again I really love this Guitar. You know I bought my 89 for $25 more so my 12 year old son could learn to play. I wanted him to have a good guitar with a sweet neck to learn on. Most of my guitars are $1500 and up. I thought this would be a great way to give him the right quality without me cringing if he bumps it around. Because this thing is almost Vintage I still cringe tho. lol Its 23 years old.

  • how..just how do you get it to sound like that? XD

  • BC RICH

  • Subscribed because I love your attitude! Good work also making a Squier Strat sound as heavy as that, haha...

  • the real metal is underneath the buick hat.

good tone, regardless of genre subjugation.

  • Hey dude, good stuff. I just liked your FB page. :)

  • @ErosaScuderia Thanks, much appreciated. I like likes. :)

  • whats worse for me is the fckin guitar shop nearest to me is obessed with shitty fenders!! not many shecters or ibanez or any other cool ass guitars like BC Rich

  • @SwirlyBrokenHearts I guess you're obsessed with shitty Schecters, Ibanezes, and BC Riches...

  • Shitty Schecters and Ibanezes? Really, kid? They're actually one of the best-made guitars in the entire world, Ibanezes are just priced less because they're not made in the US. So shut the fuck up and learn your facts.

  • fender guitars look like shit, but any guitar can do metal with the right pickup, im glad i dont think its the actual guitar wood and other stuff that gives the sound Lol, the answer is, fender can do metal, with the right pickups, but i remember playing one and they are worse than dogturd, i had to throw mine out even tho my dad paid for one its one big piece of shit dont buy one if you like metal

  • That ending was hilarious XD

  • This AND your other vid with guitar.. I have NEVER heard anyone get that good of a sound out of a squire strat. What is your rig? Some serious multi effects setup? Preamp? What all are you playing thrugh when You click it from crappy sound to rich full metal sound? Most every squire i ever had sounds like yours does when you clean it up.. but again, It sure sounds sweet when you turn on your FX... what all you got there out of view you're using to get that sound? Thanks, Perry

  • fenders fucking FTW!

  • Haha that was cool! :)

A guy with cool sense of Humor, keep on it bro.

  • i hate fender...but good playin

  • @chelseagrin475 Thanks. It's OK if you don't like Fender or Squier. Fender Musical owns Jackson guitars, so when you want a guitar more suited to metal, Jackson has you covered. :) If you don't like Jackson, there's Schecter, Agile, Gibson, Epiphone, ESP.. the list goes on and on.

  • @rmenga ..........yepp theres a guitar for everyone lol

  • @rmenga Don't forget BC Rich, anyway there is no reason to not like Jackson for the metal models. For all the other kind of music/guitars i prefer Gibson over all but for metal there is probably nothing better than a Jackson with EMG. I also have two fenders but even if i like them there is no match with my gibsons.

  • Responder a este vídeo... i love the fender brand wow awesome!! 0:11

  • Responder a este vídeo... mean how u do that?

  • that sounded like metalcore so it didn't really count as metal.... nice playing though

  • @DrFizz28 So according to your logic, metalcore "isn't metal" even though it has the word 'metal' in its name. Right. Thanks for your comment.

  • @rmenga i don't care what it's called, it sounds more rock based to me. bands like Bullet for My Valentine & A7X. just my opinion

  • @rmenga well he is right. metal core is the poppy version of metal (tuned down guitars, screaming people etc).

  • @DrFizz28 That didn't sound like the bland CHUG DE CHUG CHUG CHUG metalcore to me. Sounded more thrash to me.

  • @DrFizz28 lol at your intolerance.

  • @SwirlyBrokenHearts Tell me, since you know me so well, what exactly is it that I do not tolerate?

  • LINE 6 COMES TO MIND HERE..

  • so it is squier or fender?

  • fenders still suck

  • @Death88Wish ...and you still swallow.

  • @rmenga Is that USA or Mexican Strat. I like Strats, but I can't seem to choose between a Strat and the Schecter C1 Classic. They both have the ability to play all lot of music. But which is better?

  • Chuck norris can do that with a uke

  • does it buzz?

  • I couldn't pay attention to the Strat... All my attention was on the BEAUTIFUL Jackson behind you!!!

  • cool! =)

  • will it blend? thats the question!

  • That rocks. Haters fail.

I tune my Squier strat to D and chug chug chug.

  • hahahah i love the intro and outro :D:D:D

  • Haha Genius!

  • sweet! i just bought a fender squire strat, and im looking for the metal sound...which you just showed me. Im thinking about getting the Line 6 Spider IV 15 watt, you think i can get me some nice metal out of that?

  • oh! very good! beautiful... beautiful!..

  • well, if somebody sayed that squier wasnt good was because they werent satisfied.

i bet u have a kickass amp, cuz thats what it takes to make a squier sound good.

a fender strat doesnt need a big deal amp to sound amaezingly perfect.

same for gibson...the epiphone sounds good, but not everybody can get a good sound of it...u need to have some cash to pimp it out. and for that price u might as well get a true les paul...so you wont need a big-deal amp.

  • @slashngibson nah, I just use a DigiTech GSP 1101.

  • Love the way you smile! :)

  • ur awesome dude

  • man i need you help!! how can i do the "thing", wich you do when you start the metal part??? the who sound like and crazy harmonic in A string..... please help... me.... how is called.... beacous i try to learn it for a long time.... sorry for my bad english... please help me man....

  • @EMiOfficialMusic It's the same thing Zakk Wylde does on "No More Tears"; a 'reverse harmonic' done with the fret hand on the 6th string, third fret. If you touch (but not press) your finger on the 6th string, pick and move your finger up and down the fingerboard you'll hear the higher-pitched harmonics. When you find one, touch, pick, press on fret and bend/vibrato. I can't explain it any better than that.

  • id say this guitar has a amazing metal sound too it cant wait to get this vaule pack from guitar center

  • while wearing a buick hat

  • @leesbo55 buicks are made of metal.. mostly.

  • Can you make it sound like a Ric 360?

  • great tone man. on a strat thats amazing.

  • Wow, i didnt know squier can get the metal sound like this! :D

  • i really don't understand why people hate on squier so much, yea their less expensive but that doesn't change the fact that its a strat! I've had my strat since 97, and i always get the metal sound i want from it, and i paid 95 bucks for it! Like menga said, know your guitar and know your effects/amplification and you can make it sound like whatever you want easily. This axe won't let ya down!

  • Nothing's impossible with guitars, People are amazed that I play country, Blues, punk, and metal all on the same guitar, same amp, (I know you don't use an amp, but still.) and same pedals, It takes me about ten seconds to switch my genre by adjusting a knob or two.

  • Exactly. Know your guitar, know your effects/amplification and you can make it sound like whatever you want easily.

  • ..and if you want further proof of that, just search YouTube for 'hello kitty stratocaster' and watch how metal people can make that guitar sound, and that axe is "worse" than mine is.

  • MAN YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You gotta love this guy's personality.

  • TAHT WAS AWSOME!; ii have the same guitar but im a begginer,, :(

  • i have a squier telecaster. I get a better metal sound with it.

  • omg this is fantastic o_O:D

  • ha ha nice

  • Classic video. 5 stars. Yes, the Squier can get down and dirty. Sounded like a Yngwie riff there. Thanks for showing how the Big Boys do it.

  • do you change the pick ups to snigle coil emg's

  • The guitar is 100% stock.

  • U swallow

  • ahahahahahhahahahhah XD

  • Nice cumback

  • hawhaw!

  • ahahahahahahahaaaaaa nice come back :)

  • Cuz spitters are Quitters. But seriously dude this is pretty awesome, I'd kill for that type of a studio sound.

  • @rmenga How do you change the sound like that is it a certen amp or what?

  • I didn't think you could get a sound like this on a strat at all, let alone a squier

  • OMG I WANT 2 LEARN HOW 2 DO DAT!!!!!!! 0.o

  • jerry c uses a strat, takayoshi omurhu uses one.

there fucking good shredders. and this vid is awesome by the way.

  • i like this guitar and i've got one exactly like that!

    :)

    i just got it

    I'm so happy

  • awesome sounded great I just want to get a Strat these days and cuz I seen this video It made me sure I want it awesoem play dude :D and the beggining\end were funny :))

  • holy shit lol. This Squier is more metal than a B.C. Rich.

  • lol....because this guy obviously had this guitar customized. The pick ups are different, better strings, probably re-tooled the whole thing. Regular old quirers can't even stay in tune half the time! Don't be fooled.

  • Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong again. It is a plain jane Fender Squier.

    FAIL.

  • not that I doubt you, but are you sure? t looks like you have cream-colored pickups, which would mean you either customized it or got one of those classic vibe squire strats.

  • Wrong and wrong again. The guitar is a 1989. Watch my Squier II Q and A video.

  • ok, you win. Damn, that guitar is a great run for it's money. However, how do you think a really expensive guitar would compare? Does price not always have to do with quality? Do you think a squire could beat a nice PRS custom 24?

  • An expensive guitar does not make for a better player.

  • What are you playing through? I can get pretty heavy sound on my Bullet but I definitely can't get that harmonic response. I'm going through a cheap Behringer XV amp effects processor and a 15 watt Crate practice amp. It actually sounds very adequate (especially considering the $100 Bullet,) a testament to Squire a I assume.

  • See my Squier II Q&A video

  • okay. And why does it say Squier II? I watched the video BTW.

  • That's the model.

  • @TheBradRules No. A guitar is a fucking piece of wood with steel strings and magnetic pick ups. Don't blame the guitar if you sound like shit and can't play. No ESP, Ibanez, or any other faggoty nu-metal guitar with EMG's will make a better player. Learn to play, buy a good a amp, and take your head out of your ass.

  • Mh. Yeah, I think you're actually right.

  • Lol. I dig this, especialy the intro and outro. Classic

  • dude ur awesome!...im gona get a squire to start guitar lessons....i might get the blue strat with the amp nd stuff

  • LOL i love ur vids

  • Wow you're really good!

  • BTW, do you have your set up posted anywhere? Like the computer programs or deck you're using?

  • LOL awesome man. Keep it up.

  • Nice job man. you are awesome.

  • is the metal sound more of the guitar or the amp??? if amp can u tell me which amp do u have im trying to get a good 1 but i cant!!!

  • obviously Amp. Try the Lin6 spiders

  • if u watched his q&a you would know tht he doesnt even use an amp

  • eh. he runs it thought a software which changes the sound and amplify s it also does output through speakers , so technically that counts as amp

  • I love this video.

    And my Squier.

  • No metall at all! Whatsoever!

Bwahaha. It'l never do any! It's a Squire! It can't!

    Lol.

    Rich you'r the funnyest! )

  • WAY TO GO OUT WITH A BANGER WOO!! lol anyways good job

  • YES WE CAN !!!!!! you did it very well :D
