  • this all scene = head bops.

  • Haha, this happened one time at my buddys grandma's funeral. Me and another one of his friends came and had no clue what to say after we were like sorry for you're loss. hahaha.

  • Awkward? I'm surprised "Ding! Dong! The Witch is dead" isn't playing and Tony's doing backflips. He hated that fucking bitch anyhow.

  • "eh.. what yew gonna do"

  • on the dvd there is a special feature where david chase explainse that tonys mother would have testafied against tony about the flight tickets (if she didnt die)

  • I heard that she did not suffer.

And for that, we can be great-full.

  • waaaadddddaaaaaayaaaaaagaaaaannnnnaaaaaddoooooooooo

  • @inilledra OOOOH!

  • What are you gonna do?

  • 0:39 - 0:53 - awkward silence, hahaha. I love these guys.

  • wiseguy 101: in any awkward situation, always say "whatyagonna do?" *shoulder shrug*

  • haha i love silvio here

  • this is the best quality video i ever seen on utube haha

  • ..............."whuddya guna doo"

  • anyone else prefer christopher the entertaining drug addict to christopher the miserable f***

  • @EmanNep3101

So true, he focused more on the family then the movie business and he was getting quality women. However...."what ya gonna do?"

  • @EmanNep3101 I do. haha. I know that sounds horrible but he is a fictional character made for our entertainment. I think he was high in this scene though cause Carmella later states that he was high and speaking gibburish for 20 mins at her mother in laws (Tony's moms) funeral at Chris's intervention.

  • when the two people supposedly closest to him passed on (his mother and Chrissy) he only pretended to be sad but inside he was relieved, VERY relieved.

  • @Vidinotes I think with his mom, he was sad, but very relieved at the same time (the emerging legal situation with the ticket), plus her unbearable personality.. I think with Chrissy, it was pure relief lol.

  • Gotta love Sil.......

    dats right....lol

  • lol I love Silly

  • wow, bad directing...look at chrissy at 2 seconds, then look at him at 5 seconds...he goes from uninterested to completely enthralled in a single moment

  • @dinkhead1 I hate people like you, make me sick

  • @MrTomojenko take a xanax

  • @dinkhead1 that's because they don't really care that tony's mother died, so the actor who is acting , is acting like he cares :)

  • @dinkhead1 You're fucking stupid. All he did was turn his head.

  • @mistask8a u didn't get it

  • Im Italian... and i recently attended a funeral for a relative of mine (God rest his soul)

... and yea alot of "whaddya gonna do's" were said. lol

  • @mrtundra45 I am new yorker (not italian) and I hear a lot of "whaddya gonna dos" also -- I think its a regional thing than too.

  • Wayaagonnnadooo!? lol

  • "Least she didn't suffa."

  • actually it must have been awkward to shoot this scene, because the actress who played his mother actually died

  • funny, tony 0:10 short hair 0:13 longer hair

tony 0:47 long hair, 0:55 shorter hair again..

    Or am I going bananas?

  • @Anthony2Times

i seems the hair is changng yes but i guess its just the lighting

  • @Anthony2Times its hard to fucking tell. i mean the light could be the issue. anyway fuck that. sopranos rules

  • Bada bing bada boom, what ya gonna so, ok hey take it easy forget about it. Oh!

  • What the heck, what episode is this from??

  • In reality, it was the greatest day of his life.

  • AJ didn't even give a shit let alone Tony

  • aj never gave a fuck!

  • THUMBS U PIF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE A CAPO IN THE SOPRANOS!!

  • @rama6maiden being a capo for the sopranos family is the kiss of death!

  • seriously though, what ARE ya gonna do?

  • @shoofirbin lol exactly. Thats the whole point of the saying. "Whattya gonna do". Its not a question lol.

  • "at least she didn't suffer"

  • "Hey well eh, what're gunna do?"

  • I love this fucking family....! Just loved every min of it. !

  • im sorry i just dont see how this is akward

  • Comment removed

  • @2112murphy No I'm saying it as a good thing. Most shows don't do that sort of thing. Shows the realism of this show.

  • This aint no awkward situation Tony is glad his mother is gone,it solves a problem for him. I mean really does he look like he cares?

  • I swear I remember Tony wearing that same shirt in like 3 different episodes.

  • @Antrizzle2009 Yeah well in real life people usually wear the same clothes more then once..

  • at :41 im thinking "Okay... let's play hungry hungry hippoes"

  • i cant believe this guys actually have feelings

  • this show is so good. it took me the second time around watching it to realize how FUNNY it is.

  • This was one of my favorite episodes... Very good ending too (won't spoil it).

  • -sorry for your loss, T.

    -forgetaboutit

  • man if it wasnt for the drugs chrissy would be running that fucking family ..so sad

  • haha tony was glad she was dead, no more rico case involving bad plane tickets

  • "whatyagonnado?"

  • Sil's face is always fucking priceless!!!

  • "this is my mother, who does not exist because she is dead to me!"

  • sil was the only one that ever stuck to the rules.

  • I Wan't Tony's Shirt..........Let Me Know If You Know How To Get It

  • @blewidescorpio marshalls

  • "whuddya gunna do?"

    classic Italiano......

  • @sonnyred5050 lol "E Che Puoi Fare?" How many times I heard that phrase said at the dinner table

  • Look at the end angle

    Chris is fat! :D

  • @intefanvetjag Yeah i always thought so to, but you know some people looks like that when there in good shape.

  • Sil was his Consigliere.....He had no reason to suck up.

  • Notice how they (and everybody) automatically pats the other on the back during an embrace. I wonder who or what first started that?

  • i was so glad when livia died...it wasn't an episode too soon.

  • @goYankees19 no shit...i hated every scene with that woman, i guess that means good acting. all i know is i fast forward through her scenes when im watching the dvd

  • I love Sil. He was Tony's right hand man. Loved him in the E-Street band back in the 80' as well. He is talented and cute!

  • lol A.J doesnt give a fuck about grandma

  • that was the weirdest mother ever... and the ugliest I ever seen

  • @vera1986 OHH!

  • LOL I was just watching this episode on Demand the other day. I said the same thing. That shit was just awkward. Nobody really knew what to say. XD

  • lol Paulie, Chissy, and Sil watching the TV looking so interested

  • I loved Tony's response to everyone this episode. "What are you gonna do?" He couldn't come out and say he was glad the bitch was finally in the ground.

  • Silvio is Tony's consigliere, regardless of the situation Silvio always has to voice his opinion. Its his job, and you can see why.

  • SILVIO GOTS MAD HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is actually explained in the DVD commentary. EVERYBODY in the family knew Livia, and what a fuckin bitch she was (her character not her R.I.P) so basically all they could do is accompany Tony in his solemnity. I love how Silvio reaction to "at least she didn't suffer" hahahaha! so made up!

  • i love when Sil says

I'LL TRUE ENEMY....HAS YET..TO REVEAL THEMSELF from the Funhouse episode.

  • @NikeAurrs45 OUR true enemy.... (not to insult, just saying)

  • @mahavishnuxc and it's yet to reveal HIMSELF....(just to insult, not saying) LOL

  • @NikeAurrs45 touche'.

  • Polly's the best

  • The Sopranos by far have THEE best italian accents out of anybody!!

I like Paulie's accent, but Tony's always kills me!!!

    "Whaddaya gonna do, ya know."

  • @krime1988 Those are Jersey accents. Italians from Italy don't sound anything like these guys.

  • @snowstormcan Yea I figured that much... I'm not talking about an italian accent like super mario & luigi have... I'm talking about that Italian-american, east coast, mafia accent... The Sopranos beat them all!

  • wht a fkn prik

  • THE SOPRANOS BEST SHOW EVER MOTHER FUCKER

  • What are ya gonna do?

  • Give Tony a Gabagoo and he'll be happy

  • @MobHeataEnt it's Capacolla

  • @JohnGolbunny gabagoo is how they pronounce it.....thus why he typed it that way, no need to correct him if you understand what he's saying

  • @benj214 It doesn't matter how you pronounce it. That's not how it is spelled. Do you type other words based on the way you pronounce them? There's no need to correct it if you understand it right?

  • @JohnGolbunny well if you wanna get technical & correct people, it's really spelled capicola...........WHO CARES IT'S THE INTERNET---on the internet you can spell words like capicola "gabagoo" because that's how it's pronounced in this tv show. it's not like he's writing a paper and has to be 100% correct. who cares? seriously

  • @benj214 k den we shud jus tawk lyke dis den sinse dey tawk lyke dis too

  • @JohnGolbunny since it's the INTERNET, sure. thanks for proving my point

  • @benj214 So why aren't you?

  • @JohnGolbunny it's obviously not my personal preference to type that way, but i couldn't care less if someone typed like that seeing as how it's the internet

  • @benj214 So hows the family? You guys getting together fir Memorial Day? Firing up some burgers and dogs like you guys always do?

    Miss you guys.

  • @JohnGolbunny ribs i know for sure, dunno what else though

  • @benj214 Hows little Billy doing?

  • @JohnGolbunny not too shabby

  • @benj214 Give him my best. I'll come by around 8. Have a few brewskees and some dogs rdy for me!

  • @MobHeataEnt

Gabagoo is the best way to make nice with a mob boss

  • everytime someone dies in the sopranos they say "what ya gonna do"

  • @Cjbona14 Don't forget at least she didn't suffa

  • @Cjbona14 Well... what you gonna do...

  • @Cjbona14 yeah, and the hug has to have a triple backslap.

  • @sabbathtage25 in Paulie's case it were five backslaps!

  • @Cjbona14 Makes sense to me

  • @Cjbona14 THEY DONT GIVE A FUCKKKK

  • Yea, Silvio was also one of the few people Tony would tolerate and put up with if any bullshit was going on.

  • Livia was played by Nancy Marchand, a stage and screen actess. She died at age 70 - she was a big cigarette smoker and I think she had emphysema.

It must have been hard for the cast to film this scene as they really were all grieving.

  • @rennyminou if someone died at 70.. i dont think that the smokes that kill them...

  • @ImamSoffian oh the hell want's to live past the age of 70 tho, human organs fail after a while so go figure. I do however like how their are old people out there that lived during the great San Francisco Earthquake, The Russian Revolution, The Early Mob Days, WWI & II, etc. Live out to tell history.

  • the woman actually died in real life. In 2000, so they wrote into the show that she died. I think they wouldve kept her going in the show if she hadnt.

I bet you it was awkward, because you have to act as if she died the character and not the person.........even though she really died.

  • @/kuruptpitbull

i never knew she died in real life so they wrote it into the show

    thx for the info

  • @kuruptpitbull yeah this is true. . If you watch very closely in the last episode Livia appears in, were she's talking to Tony in her house, you can clearly see that her dialogue is done by splicing old footage of her into the scene. . The head shot from behind is another woman with a wig. .

  • @vicjustice1 I believe they used scenes of her when she was talking to Junior in the retirement home.

  • Another very awkward funny scene made me laugh was Peeps funeral..Tony and Johnny Sack arguing in the sedan out of the cemetery and Phil with Silvio still next the buried that didn't know how spend their time and what about talking ...I'm looking over the tube if I find

  • This Silvo looks so fucking angry ALL the time haha

  • i swear Tony's answer to any question is "what you gonna do?"

  • yea uh....... "what ya gonna do" LOL how many times they say that in the series :D

  • LOL I was watching this episode last night. Made me laugh when Tony was told his mother died and his first reaction was to smile and say, "You're kiddin!"

  • I love when he cries watching the scene from "Public Enemy"

one of my favs. from the show.

  • That's so funny cause I was thinking the same thing before he went out and said it. lol

  • the ending of the scenen... It's genius

  • whata ya gonna do LOLZ

  • hahaha i love the Sopranos

  • LOL

  • aj in this scene was so me when i was 12 lol

  • you need to chill m8, its not real

  • Am I the only one seeing that Tony has short hair until he hugs Silvio(until 0:13) and after that hug he has longer hair.(combed to the back with oil)

Also Chrissie seems to look a bit older after that Silvio's hug.. when the camera angle changes

Almost like they redone the scene....

    or am I going bananas?

  • i dont know if this is a big deal or anything. On the episode were tonys mom dies i think. its when furio is telling a joke about stealing the money from whoever wins survivor u can see big pussy in the reflection of the glass on the door for a split second. Also big pussies wife is different in the first season then in the rest of the show, check the episode where everyone is doing some "spring cleaning" and he is burning papers on the grill after the funeral.

  • "Its a big deal" You just bought something to my attention. the paranormal stuff is what intrigued me about The Sopranos

  • I just checked and it scared the living crap out of me.. GOOD CATCH!

  • @Anthony2Times I see it too.

  • christopher is madd funny..just looking at him makes me laugh..hes the joker in the sopranos

  • lol we all know how much you love her, he tried to kill her once i dont think he loved her

  • *shrugs* at least she didn't suffer.

  • "What ya gonna do?!"

    Epic timing.

  • ha there all sitting there watching skateboarding , how lucky is AJ :)

  • Wadayagondo? How about sing "Ding-Dong, the Witch is Dead?"

  • Since when did AJ think he was Fred Durst?

  • Teenage crisis I guess. :)

  • Atleast she didn't suffer.

  • My fav scene in any episode, any season of Sopranos, such clever lines..."we all know.....how much you loved her" and "I can imagine how you must feel". Tony's facial expressions and reaction. Classic! :>)

  • Haha 0:20-21 when Tony raises his eyebrows at what Sil said is gold.

  • haha

  • Chris's reaction to the second wadayagondo is priceless 0:53

  • 0:31 and 0:52 the second wadayagondo

    sounded differednt

  • you know i found that pretty funny now after looking at it again lol and the way pauly and sil are standing is pretty funny too

  • hey....wadaya gonna do?

  • himself, he created the entire thing. you obviously didn't pay attention to the opening and closing credits. its pretty clear. who's in charge? maybe you should be in charge eh? yeah what an improvement you would have made, im sure...

  • I sure as hell couldnt have made it worse.

  • the funny thing about this scene is that they all knew his mother was a difficult woman but i guess we all in some shape or form suck up to our boss especially silvio LoL

  • Hey, Silvio never sucked up to Tony, ever. He just knew his place and had respect for the chain of command, moreso than anyone else on the show.

  • Yeah for sure man. Silvio was no fucking suckup. He was a loyal friend.

  • Sil is the only one that didn't get nervous talking to Tony when he got angry. Paulie would start rambling and Christopher would just shut up.

  • @drushtvo

Dude not even close!!!! Paulie would have blamed it on Christopher lol

  • @drushtvo i dont think richie aprile ever got nervous about anything ever same with feech lamanna
