  • this is their last year together, they were a good band

  • I know John is the voice but after 30 years in bands I feel the sound is a real band sound- that requires commitment a soul..Would he have sounded the same with other musos.. not sure..

  • Good Eye Might <<<< try to say that without sounding Australian. 'Like' if you tried & failed. :)

  • @TheSkuLLcomedyShow The only thing worse than an Aussie accent, is a yank trying to impersonate an Aussie accent.

  • @mo0nbuggy...That may be true, but it's always fun when your mom gives me a 'yank' ;D

  • @TheSkuLLcomedyShow Pffft. My 'Mum" wouldn't touch a yank, she has standards. A Canadian maybe, but a yank? ewwwwwww

  • anyone notice the guy at :20 head banging...the only one...

  • This british bitch doesnt know what she is talking about imo

  • I'm not sure if I like this interviewer.

  • Keep on chooglin', John! Right from the beginning the cameras focused on John Fogerty -- he WAS Creedence. He still has his voice and energy in concert.

  • Great band! John Foggerty and Harrison Ford ... it's an amazing resemblance

  • LOL... Yeah, nice interview. I was waiting for her to ask them about them clubbing baby seals. I'm surprised they didn't just throw her overboard. Now THAT would have been good.

  • This wasn't an interview...it was an attack. What a disrespectful witch.

  • This wasn't an interview...it was an attack. What a disrespectful bitch.

  • At that time I didn't even know where they were from, but Americans, though I enjoyed their songs and had some vinil albums which we used to play here in Brazil in small parties in some friend's houses and, man, we used to dance a lot too listening their songs and hugging and dating cheek to cheek. Good late 60s. Anyway, it's awesome to know more of them now. One of the best band ever indeed.

  • ello mate

  • When Tom Fogerty left,

who did his guitar parts in the live shows?

  • @wheelinthesky300 I don't know, maybe John added some rhytm secrion on his guitar...

  • @wheelinthesky300 Nobody did. Their overall live sound was a bit empty after he left.

  • Did color photography reach Australia by 1972?

  • The interviewer was the wrong person for the job, she didnt have a clue about them

  • Gotta love John Fogertys' hat.

  • Gah! The interview kills my life! It's so random but I'm a 14 who loves Creedence, watched this video and saw my Dad when he was about 14 in the crowd!

  • What on earth is down with the interviewer!? what absurd & negative questions - actually just insults... "...yeah, but it seems a criticism that you're so super proffessional..." huh? that seems a criticism to her?

"ive never been to your show ...(then)...but credence are fairly predictable in what they do" and so on.

eeew! I would've been tempted to lighten the load on the boat a bit. very rude!

  • ccr is the fucking best

  • too bad they arent around now..... im 13, so i never got a chance to see them....

  • @The777JesusFreak Hey you didn't miss much. CCR was OK, but had bad business problems. But...John Fogerty was CCR, and still performs all the old tunes as well as new ones today. So when you get a chance go see John Fogerty. It would be the same as seeing Creedance.

  • @The777JesusFreak yeah u should deff see John Fogerty in concert I think hes better now when he was with CCR bigger and better band. Trust me if u see him now u won't be disappointed . I love CCR, I'm 16 saw John @ foxwoods mgm grand last year what a show!

  • Can someone Sych the audio up

  • rude negative interviewer

  • this is amazing. i was born in 1990. love ccr, my dad rubbed off on me a little i guess. this rap on pop shit dont cut it and the country music is heading down hill fast. late 60's/early 70's was a great time for music. wish i couldve lived it.

  • @jelfrink09 just like me..born in 1990 and I listened to them a lot between the ages of 8-11 thanks to my dad! I also got interested in drumming through them..CCR's song has friendly basic beats! I listen to a lot of cross genre and world stuff as well but CCR always has a special place in my heart. They are very talented and sound fantastic live which cant be said for most bands nowadays. Personally I love 70s-late 80s music

  • Good upload, were in the hell did you find it? thanks for this.

  • Man, I wish it was the actually audio from the performance and not the album versions dubbed over. Still a great video! Thanks for posting.

  • daaaahhhh!!!

  • amazing, they sound as good in concert as the studio album!

  • LOL Stu "we wouldn't give him a minute's peace"

  • Ms. Pritchard conducted possibly the worst music interview ever. She never saw them perform on stage? All her "questions" were rehashed from other hack writers. At 5:00 I thought, Oh God, I've gotta listen to five more minutes of this crap? Saved by Chooglin'.

  • The song is called Hey Tonight from the Pendulum album.

  • what song is this in the begining?

  • Hey Tonight

  • -.-

  • LOVE the band....Accidently ran into them and fell in love with the style :)...

  • Daaaaaaamn @ 5:32-5:38!!

  • great piece! keep em commin!

  • hard to believe this probably was the last time ccr appeared together ,though they have appeared at other functions ,but john prefers to maintain his rage against the other two-a sad ,stubornness, bitterness thats not going away--37 years later -thanks for posting ,this rare clip,

  • man, what a condescending bitch!!

  • Hey, is Fogerty playing a three-pickcup Les Paul Custom?

  • in 1971 tom fogerty and CCR broke up, tom went solo and CCR played til november '72

  • weres tom fogerty in this?

  • Having seen CCR in 1970 and John in 1986 and 1997, I was never dissapointed.

He knew what he was doing and never let the fans down.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

  • i bet she's looking back on that and thinking "geez if i wasnt such a stank cunt

i might of had a career"

  • Funny,SHE was going to expose them as posers...history showed her to be an idiot, insulting what turned out to be one of the three greatest rock bands ever, and America's greatest ever.

  • i agree

  • The arrogance of this woman....as if self-indulgent 'jamming is the measure of anything..' Creedence still live, the big 'jam bands of the 60/70'sare now passe'

I saw them on this tour and they were brilliant.

  • I dunno if it was arrogance. It was just the times. Jam bands were really in during this period. I think CCR was going against the grain at the time.

  • That's because I'm watching JC, moron!!!

  • uh huh yeah sure whatever shut up douche you suck johns a hole

  • Yeah, right. I can see that took alot of thought on your part. Now, go rest. *lol*

  • johns a DICK!

  • He just might be, but he is still more of a musician than the other three put together. Except if I had been in the band!! *lol*

  • stupid reasoning. His other bands never had the sound and feel of the original creedence.

  • great bass on that first track!

  • When you've got a band in which one guy is doing all the writing it's going to sooner or later cease being a band and become his solo project. You can almost just see the resentment in Johns face toward Stu and Doug. I'm sure he felt they were doing nothing but riding his coatails.

  • LOL LOL LOL at :21-:23 theres one guy head bangin, great song, personally i think it sounds better live but CCR beats all

  • Great later period video. As their last Mardi Gras tour in 1972, the band should have continued, allowing John to play banjo, dobro, pedal steel, organ, and acoustic guitars, added another member and just kept the vibe going. However, John had his own agenda. No encores, that is dumb. Don't forget, John is the one who signed the original contracts. Still, one of the greatest bands ever.

  • where is tom fogerty

  • he left the band by then

  • Who is the darkhaired woman walking just in front of JF with a band around her hair and smoking? - John's first wife?

  • That interviewer is pretty nasty with her questions!

  • Subtitles in spanish please

  • LA MEJOR BANDA DEL MUNDO

  • Best band ever.

  • @Fogerty69 I dunno, calling a one band or a singer 'the best' is a problematic at the best of times- it's all subjective. Dude, that's just, like, your opinion. Anyway, who cares really, eh? They rock and I love em, and they're the best in my opinion too ;)

  • hey, CCR is awesome. Long live Fogerty

  • AWSOME !!!!!!!

Thank you for posting this !

  • Cool. Thanks for uploading.

  • whoa, kinda of a nasty tone and smirk the interviewer had there.

  • That chick interviewer needs a slap. I would've walked.

  • Frank Beard

  • Yeah, every acid-buzzed dayglo hippie stponer jam band sounded like "Proud Mary" and "Fortunate Son" and Fogerty just copied them.

Get a brain before spouting off your big fat mouth. You're just a troll.

  • nooo, nice try... but you got your facts wrong...it didn't go down that way...get out your r and r history book, my friend.....

  • MrZol....er...uh

  • MrZol..you sir, are a complete douche bag, anyone who knows anything about music wont need to be explained to why

  • John is pretty much the best singer that has ever lived.

  • i like this one, i like all from CCR,and i put hey tonight for my mobile ringing,so the song already been my life part, xia from china:)

  • dude looks like harrison ford

  • im 13 and this band is in my top 3 favorite bands, he has that wonderful whiskey drenched voice when he sings. did eh john die in a plane crash? they seem to all die that way. jim croce, lynyrd skynyrd and many others all died in those old planes. i hate that, they were all so good and couldnt have still been together.

music is like candy, throw away the rappers :)

  • john is alive and well... touring and recording.

  • yeah he sure is alive :). he made an album about half a year ago i think.

  • Buddy Holly died in a plane crash but John Fogerty is well & truly alive & better then ever, hes got a new album out "Revival" & hes currently doing a world tour. Im seeing him in England in June.

  • According to the Bad Moon Rising book, the last CCR concert was in Denver in '72. Apparently in their concerts they didn't usually play longer than 45 minutes.

  • John does 2 hour concerts nowadays & at nearly 63 dosnt even break into a sweat unlike his bagking musicians who are nearly on their knees by the end of the show.

  • that's because Fogerty nowadays doesn't play as explosive as in 1970. but it still is fantastic!!!

  • Wonderfull rare video. I wonder if the lady with the leather band around her hair smoking cigarettes was John's girlfriend. I have seen her in pictures in European magazines way back when. Does anyone know?

  • @linnet100 I've tried to find as much info on her (Martha Paiz) as I possibly could, and I am very confident that the woman in this video is indeed John's first wife.

  • Look at the size of those speakers! It's a wonder they could hear anything with that sort of stage volume. Great band!

  • CCR fuckin kick ass, fogerty did kind of prove it that he could do it on his own tho, no disrespect to the other guys... saw him in like 99 or 2000 or sumthing... was fucking good...

  • wait a sec'... this whas a live concert or wasn't it?

  • this whas their very last concert...pity

  • damn really? its a pity there is no more CCR at all...even without tom. im 17 but i think its one of the greatest band ever

  • i'm younger than you and i don't like any music of the 21st century. damn all that rap-crap!

speaking about Tom, i think he was the second most important element in CCR. in my opinion CCR was way less fantastic when he left the band

  • hehe en je komt ook nog eens uit nederland, jij begrijpt het :P

  • lekker dan, jij helemaal :))

  • Well fuck Me I was there to in 1972 I was 20 then I saw The Rollingstones at Randwick Race Course the Stones come around the track on coach n horses but Dam Man I missed Credence Fuck Me I must have been high on LSD that day thks for the posting Man now its 2007

    Dave Penetana.

  • John Fogerty Rocks

  • This hag should have been fired for her impersonating a music critic..You will note that Tom Fogerty ain't there ..Why?...I wif they threw her Aussie ass in the bloody drink if she would act "differently"..less predictable...Crunt ass wench

  • Was that like a "lunch in the park with Creedence" type concert ? LOL!!!

  • 2:04 - that ain´t Fogerty, that´s friggin Harrison Ford dudes!!!!

  • dude thats john for sure

  • "dude thats john for sure"

    Kiddin´ dude.

  • o ok

  • Nada nem ninguem é comparavel ao CCR , especialmente a John C. Fogerty.........ele realmente é impar , sem igual.Sinto-me reconfortado em vê-lo........

  • I was at this Sydney (Randwick Racecourse) concert (along with 20,000 others) - it was a blast. Rolling Stone reported they arrived in limos "with the cream of Australia's groupies". See my report of this tour on web site "Milesago". Support groups were Sherbert & Country Radio.

  • You donot know what it was like back in 1972 ,unless you were at festival hall in Melbourne ,just how great John Fogerty was as a man and person . And how he ranks up there with the best performers and writers of all time .He is Rockin All Over The World.

  • The woman was trying to get a reaction out of the group by asking those questions. They refused to sink to her level. She knew nothing about the band and it was obvious.

  • i googled the interviewer jeune pritchard, predictably she didnt go commercial.smartass bitch

  • What a jerk woman doing the interview...jesus, ever heard of not insulting the people your interviewing?

  • I know! She was disrespectful. Would have gotten a better interview if she'd had a clue.

  • "You have a really sort of, you know, 'commercial' sound" John should have said "yeah, i guess it's pretty commercial now huh? I'm glad we invented something that's so popular to be called commercial, moron"

  • tres bon the best

  • thank you so much for uploading this video, i am a huge ccr fan and it's just great to see these them. i love to watch john fogerty when he was young, he was soooo cute

  • Thanks, man!!! thanks from Brasil! Great!

  • Cool. Thanks for uploading.

  • Thanks a lot !

    Robert Aerts (Itcameoutofthesky)

  • was this an Australian concert?

  • *bangs head against computer desk in despair* lol

  • I posted that before watching the complete video :(

  • Yes, certainly was-back in '72 when I was 13 going on 14, I saw my very first big fabulous rock show, and it was: Creedence Clearwater Revival on this tour, Perth, the year they finally called it a day. I'm grateful I got to see them live, what a band!
