  • I feel dirty as I hear these Romanist responses

  • IN ORDER TO BE GRANTED SALVATION BY GOD, YOU MUST DO GOD'S WILL ON EARTH WHICH IS DESCRIBED IN THE GOSPELS!

JUST BELIEVING IN AND HAVING FAITH IN GOD WHILE NOT DOING HIS WILL ON EARTH WILL NOT DO YOU ANY GOOD.

  • Navymom....how did you come to those conclusions??? I see nothing bitter or any evidence of failure in any of what has been said here. Just a perspective that lines up with the teaching of the original Church...the Church of the first century...as recored in Scripture....not the first deviation from that which is the church of the 4th century and Constantine's amalgamation of faiths of his day and politics...that the Catholics call Church Fathers. Just the facts!

  • these ex priests and nuns are speaking out , to try and justify their failure in community life. being a priest or a nun is not for everyone.....unfortunately they just sound very bitter at their failure......

may God bless them and soften their hearts to the message of Christ....

  • @usnavymom1958 they are speaking the truth. They only sound bitter because you don't understand...

  • i pray that everyday that more people will come out of her, religion, and be in the covenant of Yahuah our Elohim the Torah ten commandments and in a relationship with Yahusha Ha'Mashiach. The Natsarim was the first real true followers of Yahusha not the Christians. i am no longer Christian. i became a Natsarim engrafted into Israel into the covenant of Yahuah.

  • According to Luther we are so corrupt, we are incapable of doing good. Hence the Cross alone effects our salvation. So we know for a certitude that we are saved as long as we accept Jesus as our Saviour. Catholics: "Faith is the assent to the Divine Truth by an act of the will aided by grace." We are moved to embrace Jesus only with His grace. We believe freely. God's moving us does not make us robots; that would destroy our nature! "Without God we can do nothing" except by His concurrence!

  • James 2:26 says faith without is dead. Even demons believe that Jesus is God so how are you truly a christian by following his commandment and submit to God.

  • @avirtuouswomenguide there is a difference between believing that Jesus is God and believing in Him or on Him for salvation

  • @Petitegirl90 you can believe in God all you want to the devils believe that, but do they love God heck no thats the difference between a christian and demons John 14:15 if you love me you will obey my commandment. The ten commandments and even those God has established in the n.t so just believing in God is not enough and there are plenty scriptures to prove that.

  • @avirtuouswomenguide obeying his commandments are a result of believing on Him. He didn't say you love me by keeping my commandments, He said if you love me you will keep my commandements meaning that the fruit of loving Him is obeying him I don't think anyone on this video is saying we don't have to keep the commandments, they are saying we are saved by grace through faith, and as a result good works and keeping the commandments will come forth naturally

  • Hopefully I didn't confuse you:)

  • @Petitegirl90 i guess you kinda did but im sorry i get a little revved up i just dont understand the whole faith without works "movement".

  • @avirtuouswomenguide Oh no it is fine.No one is saying we are to just have faith and if we are living contrary to what we believe it is acceptable and I don't think it is a movement. I think everyone would agree that it is not the works that save us, it is the faith that saves us and if we really do have faith then our works will follow. If you ever have any more questions feel free to message me or comment on my channel.

  • @Petitegirl90 for sure i hope you do the same also

  • @avirtuouswomenguide Ok cool:)

  • "Check out my YouTube channel/playlists and websites for present-truth materials, Three Angels' Messages and God's last-mercy warning to His people in these last days.

Papacy = Antichrist / Little Horn / Beast from the Sea

Roman Catholicism = Whore of Babylon

Investigative Judgement has commenced in 1844 (1st Angel’s Message)

Ellen G. White, 1827-1915 = End-time Prophet Sent of God

7th-day Sabbath = Seal of God

Sunday Worship to be Enforced as Mark of the Beast"

  • @SeventhDayRemnant A Protestant minister said, "The Book of Revelations is the most quoted but also the most misunderstood books of the Bible." There are over 35,000 Christians denominations today after Luther(Sole Scriptura). Many churches now accept Homosexual acts, abortion, contraception, as good and praiseworthy. Is this Christ, "today, yesterday and forever'? What Church is the bulwark of Divine Truth and Morality. What Church has a leader as the "living voice" to guide us? Your Guess!!!

  • @watchful38 There are also gay priests, priests molesting children as well as other denominations so everyone is guilty!!

  • @Petitegirl90 Y'know, sexual abuse is universal, even husbands abusng their children, uncles, scout leaders, coaches of sports teams, you name it. Priests who abuse are "sick" and incurable by today's standards. In the 50's for example, it was a moral wrong; so pray more. Then It needed therapy up until about 1990; this priest is now cured! Now we know it is incurable. Zero tolerance! Priest abusers have destroyed young people and they have put all priests in a very dark light! God help us all!

  • James 2:17 "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." The former Seminarian was wrong that "in the scripture no where is said that we can pay for our own sins, we cannot work with...." He is wrong He must have skipped this important verse. So to all the protestants A murderer that believe in God and killed people. Would he be saved? No he needs Good works. What happened to people who were good but did not know Jesus?

  • You are stupid. This video shows your ignorance!!!

  • When asked what should one do, Yeshua (whom is mistakenly called Jesus, but that's another issue) told him to follow The Commandments; whereupon He names a few of them...thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt keep holy the Sabbath, etc. Where & how do people miss this? Yeshua even points out that demons believe & know who He is, confessing His name & Divinity, yet they will not go to Heaven. Where/how do people miss this? Do the commandments with love, hope, & faith in God, Son, & Holy Ghost

  • sadly all these apostate priests and nuns will wind up in Hell. Apostates to Christ's Church,

Matthew 10:22- “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

James 2:24- “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.”

  • @thesavagenation1

Actually, they won't end up in hell. And who are you to take on the mantle of Christ?

James 2 tells us that one must work and have faith simultaneously.

Doing GOOD is what Jesus asks of us. Matthew 25 and Matthew 22.

That is what Jesus says - so to do good - is a condition of being Christian. If one does BAD? then are they Christian. NO. They lose their way instantly. and must turn themselves back to God.

  • I'm so glad I finally have found my way back to the Catholic Church and away from the false protestant non-sense. And what is wrong with these people? he wants to chastise the church b/c there has been no dogmatic changes, that it has remained consistent for nearly 2000 years!? That's a good thing! The point of the church isn't to change their doctrines b/c they are "out of date" or b/c some Catholics choose not to follow them. The point of the church is to lead people to salvation. PC or not.

  • @Link0126

Dogmatic changes have occurred since the 4th century. The last being the one on Mary in mid 19th century.

Doctrine, however, has been changing and ongoing. The Council of Trent being one of the most defining.

Although many say that Vatican ll was not about changing things in the Church, there were enough changes at that time frame so a Catechsim of the Catholic Church was finally revised in 1980's,

  • @coolwater55 That was a dogmatic proclamation. Not a dogmatic change. Vatican II changed many things about the church. And many things have been changed over time, but not doctrine. church doctrine cannot be changed. There are three elements you have to consider: discipline, doctrine and dogma. Only disciplines can be changed. The changes made by V II were disciplines. Please look into the difference btwn those 3 things.

  • @Link0126

Let me rephrase - dogma Mary - was not fully present as in todays form in WRITING in the canons until mid 1800's. YES, the canons changed but not the concept of that dogma.

As far as my understanding goes - doctrine can change and does. ie Latin mass. But perhaps I don't know, but I was taught in that manner.

  • @coolwater55 Yes, that is correct about the dogma. A Dogma is a higher definition of a doctrine. The assumption of Mary was a doctrine and then was made dogma by greater explanation by the Magisterium. It did not contradict or change the doctrine though. The changes applied by V II to the Mass were discliplinary changes. A discipline is how a doctrine is applied. Disciplines can be changed but not doctrines.

  • @Link0126

Well, by the time a canon lawyer gets educated and a person looks at the many, many historical documents about the faith observance or papers that define dogma, doctrine or discipline. ---one can surely determine that double speak becomes a part of the Christian or Catholic faith.

The bible or Gods word does not change. But God of the OT changes from violent and angry to peaceful and loving.

  • The Church does not change but millions of words and changes happen all the time throughout history of the Church and different Popes (clergy) sitting in that esteemed office.

Establish the doctrine, dogma or discipline and mow through the sea of rules to get to what should have been done from the beginning. All because man is stubborn and cannot admit that some mistakes were made or that indeed GOD does change? or does man change? his thoughts about what God wants or how God works.

  • Either priests could be married or not, either women can be leaders? or men deny women that role. It has nothing to do with anything other than many man made rules from what we see many times. That we even get to a faith life is amazing. But that is because the HOLY SPIRIT is NOT complicated and all can have that saving grace if they turn to CHRIST and not man for their answers. Right?

  • What I mean by that - could a man, woman or child walk into a Catholic Church or any house of God and be welcomed without rules and regulations that are "man" made?

Or are they welcomed with open arms to come and be with God, sit with God and that the Church really does not have a monopoly on God or how to come to God. That man himself many times has been the obstacle for others to know God.

Turning to God is a lot simpler than many churches "prescribe" is all I am saying.

  • @coolwater55 Turning to Christ means doing the things Christ prescribed. That is one reason the Church exists. To keep the sacraments alive and to keep the truth alive. Look at the vast amount of Christian denominations out there, how do you know what the truth is. They all claim to be reading from the same Bible and all will verses to back them up. The earliest Christians said to look to the Catholic Church for that's where Christ is.

  • Christ is everywhere and does not live in a bible or scriptures or a Church for that matter.

When men try to constrain Christ and faith observances to the point, whereby they say, to get to Christ is only through us or the Church?

Rules, guides for a religious worship or observance and community are important, but something went wrong somewhere to deny women and married men the right to interpret and pastor/be a priest to "help" lead others to the Kingdom of God.

  • @coolwater55 In what way is that double speak? Not everything about the Church is a Church doctrine. So somethings can be changed.

  • @Link0126

    800,000 word bible.

30,000 Protestant denominations all saying something a little - different - a little change or a big change in what the bible says.

Several early original Churches all saying a little or a LOT different.

    So, "somethings" can be changed?

God was angry, viscious in the OT and is meek, mild and loving in the New?

HUGE things changed, but stubborn men wrap millions of words and concepts to try to present an image that "God" does not change.

  • @coolwater55 Oh well, of course, the protestants have changed a lot over the years. I thought we were talking about the Catholic Church. Protestant have no unchanging doctrines, so they are free to change anything about their faith whenever they want. Just look at how far their beliefs are even from what the reformers believed.

  • @Link0126

What can be changed? Popes and Priests could be married at one time. Women WERE most certainly CHURCH leaders at one time - the bible says so - fasting was Mandatory at one time. Neighbours were watch dogs for the church and told on each other if one thing was not done right at times.

Popes said NO married Priests, vows of celibacy and now married priests are being allowed in the Catholic Diocese.

So, what changes? MEN change, not God.

  • And men wrote the bible from an ancient mens oral history (ancient bronze age men a that) and the wrote it FOR other men, and ABOUT men for the most part, and from a MALE perspective.

Women were told they were created along with men, in our image simultaneously on the 6th portion of time (day) and then a huge stork fable that adam births women and a huge disorder of creation within the next chapter. Something wrong with that picture.

  • Jesus NEVER said or did that. There were many writings about Jesus time - but the early Church fathers picked only 4 gospels? and Paul gets to write the majority of the NT, highly suspsicious. seems the church fathers had an agenda to fill.

Then there is a highly concerted effort to make women inferior to men, and not allow them positions of authority in any realm in society. They are not allowed to even see what the scriptures say by the 4th century, for they are forbidden?

  • Where was a womans voice to tell her story? or her side of things or a woman to defend herself and integrity and rights in society?

She was squashed in every way and many times lost her life if she did speak up. ie the OT sure has a lot of raping and killing of innocent women and children.

If there was any voice of dissent or to make ones life better - they were slammed down to just appreciate being a servant to a man.

Anyway, that time is over, but a lot of women suffered for it.

  • And for what?

When women finally got their hands on education and the bible, and still showed dissent, they were squashed too and men stepped up their mandate to exclude women.

Regardless, we all know now what the bible says and that there are many versions enough to know that things change.

And.....that men write and verbalize millions of words to debate one or two words in the bible even today. Because if the truth does come out, it alters the premise of a male only authority.

  • The 4 were picked b/c they were from the first century. It was always believed they were written by the stated authors, men who were close to the actual events. Other "gospels" written centuries later by random people bearing names of famous apostles whose works had never been read in the Churches for all those years were naturally excluded. Yes, The agenda was to only include the earliest and most accurate accounts of Jesus' life. Paul's job was to start churches so he wrote the most letters.

  • @coolwater55 All of those things are disciplines not doctrines. Celebacy for priests is not a doctrine and some priests are married today, those who convert from certain other protestant denominations can be married priests in the Catholic Church. There was no doctrine saying you had to tell on your neighbors, that is just what people did. Fasting is a discipline. There is a rule that we should fast 1 hr. before communion, it used to be from midnight the night before. This wasn't doctrine though

  • @coolwater55 All those things are disciplines not doctrines. There is no doctrinal ban against married priests, there are even married priests today, converts from certain protestant denominations can be priests and be married. Fasting was changed b/c it is a discipline, used to be from midnight the night before receiving communion, now it is only 1 hr before. There is no doctrine saying you have to tell on your neighbors. Again, not everything is a doctrine.

  • we, as catholics, do NOT believe we can pay for our own sins NOR do we believe we achieve our own salvation.. We believe that if you do NOT do good works than you have no faith, because good works show faith!

  • @willthacheerleader18 It's the other way around. Our faith shows good works

  • @flameboy1236 No. "Faith without works is dead" says so in the Book of James.

  • @willthacheerleader18 He's not saying that we are saved through faith alone is bad. In the Book of James chapter 2, James means that our faith reflects our lifestyle. We are not saved by our works(Ephesians 2:9).

  • @flameboy1236 i never said we are saved through works, nor is that a teaching of the Catholic Church. If we have faith, we perform good works. If you do not perform good works, it means you have no faith, and therefore are not saved.

  • @willthacheerleader18

Agreed, sorry just look at some of the videos and I guess we are on the same interests right now. Blessings to you.

  • @coolwater55 thanks there, Blessings to you as well!

  • Salvation is by the grace of God that is the teaching of the anceint church and catholicsm.

  • "Faith Without Works is Dead"

    -Sacred Scripture

NOWHERE does Sacred Scripture say faith ALONE is required.

I pray for you, my dear Protestant brothers. Your hatred of good works means that you very likely may not persist in grace until death- for you do not despise evil deeds as greatly you must.

  • @DanSOConnor Amen! Long live the Holy Catholic Church! Ave Maria! Viva Papa! Praise be to the LORD Jesus Christ! I am a Catholic and that will never change.

  • Jesus didn't give all His speeches about being good and doing good in spite of the fact that He already knew that He would be sacrificed to take away all our sins. Maybe He did take away our sins, but He still invites you to be good and do good, and that is what reformists don't understand.

  • where do the ppl before christ go..........because Jesus came only about twenty centuries ago>>>>.what abt ppl before>>???? dont you question it.....there has to be a proper logical explanation forget the faith stuff

  • @nahuris The way that I understand it is this:

God predestines certain people to be saved.

"...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9) So if someone died before Jesus came, they would be saved if they would have believed in His free gift of salvation, and would have accepted His ransom for their sin if they had heard the gospel. (cont.)

  • @nahuris So if a person realized that they needed to depend on God's righteousness, and not their own, then they would be saved. The same goes for people in the world today...Some people have not heard the gospel, so they might not even know that they are saved....Even people in other religions. But if they did hear it, they would accept it and receive it as the truth. That's my take...

  • it's always interesting to see how people who have a personal crisis of Faith can turn it into "Catholicism is evil". just because one disagrees with the methodology of a denomination of Chritianity does not mean it is incorrect. The main issue modern Protestantism has with the Catholic Church is that it has refused to change its Theology to suit the modern desires of men and women. just because the Church doesn't accept what you expect of it doesn't mean it's wrong.

  • listen to this there is no place on earth as terrible as this find out the truth about what's going on in the a catholic convent copy and pace these words in your youtube search [Sister Charlotte Keckler and The Black Veil Part 1] but remember Jesus is real but He is nothing like the catholics say he is. The real Jesus is perfect.

  • Praise GOD (the REAL HOLY FATHER) that these people left romanism and its lies for the True Savior, Jesus Christ.

  • Protestants are so confused. Luther just picked what parts of Scripture he liked, dropped parts he didn't like, twisted the meaning of what remained, and then said that he had more authority than all the past Catholic councils, bishops, saints, priests, and holy people. That's a bit arrogant, if you ask me.

  • WOW by the time you get to video 4 if you have not decided to leave the RCC then you are a spawn of satan. I thank God my mother left that church when I was a child! It is so sad how most of these lay people do not even know that what saves us is our belief in JC as our Savior and not by works, they might as well become Muslims or Jews if they want to work their way to heaven!

  • The more you examine things, the more the Jewish faith seems to be the only one true faith! For Christ paid the price for the sins of the Jews, note there were no Christians at that time. Did Christ say pray to me, honour or worship me? No He said these things of His Father! Think about that!

  • Comment removed

  • These people have not real hope.... they are good people and go to church every week and they still HOPE that it is good enough!! Wow!... I'm glad I don't believe that! My hope IS in Jesus!!

  • This looks like an old video. How many of these ex Catholics have gone back to the Church? Any update on these people?

  • Skysplash, thank you so much for this video. You have blessed my life and gave me an inspiring understanding of catholicism. You've opened my eyes.

  • And any True Catholic Knows that Christ created an ALL MALE Priesthood. And that Will and Cannot change, no matter how much the enemy tries. The priest, is married to the bride which is the Church.

  • @MsCampobasso That's something that isn't believed much anymore, unfortunately. I certainly agree, and I'm sure that no matter how hard people try to change it, it will never change.

  • If you belong to religious organizations known as Church of the nazarene, Pentecostal Gospel, Holiness Church, etc,. your sect is one of the Many Thousands od new sects and religions founded by men within the past several hundred years.

If your a Traditional Roman Catholic, you know that your Church was founded in the year 33A.D. by Jesus Christ, the Messias, the Son of God.

  • If your a Christian Scientist, you look to 1879 as the year in which your religion was born and to Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy as its founder.....If your a Jehovah's Witness, your religion was invented by Pastor Charles Taze russell in 1874 and incorporated 1881. .If your a Mennonite, your sect was named after Menno Simons, a Catholic priest for 12 yrs, who left the Church to join the Anabaptist wing.

  • If your a Methodist, your denomination was launched by John and charles Wesley in England in 1744.....If your a Mormon of the Church of Latter-day Saints, Joseph Smith, Jr. started your religion in Palmyra, NY in 1829....If your a Baptist, you owe the tenets of your sect to John Smyth, who launched it in Amsterdam in 1605.

  • If your a Presbyterian, your sect was founded by John Knox in Scotland in 1560.....If your Episcopalian, your denomination was an offshoot of the church of England founded by Samuel Seabury in the American colonies in the 17th century....If your a Congregationalist, your sect was originated by Robert Browne in Holland in 1582.

  • If your a Lutheran, your sect was founded by Martin Luther, ex-monk of the catholic church, in the year 1517....If your Anglican, your sect was founded by king henry VIII in 1534 because the Pope would not grant him an annulment from his true wife, with the right to re-marry.

  • I didn't misquote John 14:6, I was pointing out that you cannot separate what Jesus said from the mission of His Church! Pure and simple.

  • Defender is right. The heretics only follow their own will...not Christ's

  • Joe, the Catholic Faith is the Way, the truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by Him through it! Your way leads to damnation. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft!

  • @DefenderCatholic john 14:6-Iesus sauth vnto him, I am the Way, the Trueth, and the Life: NO MAN commeth vnto the Father but by mee------ defender you MISQUOTED that verse, do you do this alot? You put the RCC at the same level of Jesus Christ, this is VERY WRONG. i HIGHLY suggest you do not do that anymore, because that means you are adding to Gods word, and he does not accept that. Prov. 30:6-Adde thou not vnto his words, lest he reproue thee, and thou be found a lyar.

  • The Catholic Faith was established by Christ and St. Peter was his first Bishop of Rome. The Protestants who rebelled from the Catholic Faith have gone into rebellion. During the tribulation period, the Catholic Faith will have to go underground just as it was in the first centuries. Those of you who believe that Catholic Church is in error will one day see the truth and you will wrinlke with horror to discover you have been mislead. The Catholic Faith is the true faith of Christ.

  • @DefenderCatholic There is absolutly no truth to that. Jesus did not start the RCC. Niether did Peter. Infact, Peter never even went to Rome. All Catholics go to hell. The RCC is Satan's church, not God's. You are a liar.

  • The Catholic Church is the one true Church founded by Christ. All other denominations were founded by men who broke away from the Catholic Faith. That is the elemental truth that Protestants can't accept. They are too wrapped up in their own interprtations and scholarship. It's true that there are people on both sides of the fense who do not know their faith one way or another. Faith is a gift that must be nurtured and fed. The truth will set you free if you are open to it.

  • YOU ARE A SICK PERSON YOU NEED A SHRINK PLEASE LOOK FOR ONE

  • PLEASE MY FRIEND READ THE BIBLE REV:2-2 I KNOW YOUR WORKS ,YOUR YOUR LABORS ,AND YOUR ENDURANCE ,AND THAT YOU CANNOT TOLERATE THE WICKET.

  • All Protestants know that the Bible came from the Catholics. Remember the Church came Before the Bible. Christ never told His apostles to write a book, only St. John in Rev. How was the gospel spread when the printing press was invented 1500 yrs After Christ? When many didn't even know how to read. Faith & Charity bring Salvation.Gal:5:6

  • @MsCampobasso I used to be a Catholic, then I saw how morally corrupted it was. There's a chapter and a verse in the bible that says "Thou shall not let a picture corrupt you." But Catholics worship idols and they invert the cross and they sexually abuse children, they added in 8 books at the "beginning" to stop any other Christian faith rising. You need to BELIEVE in Jesus Christ and God to get into heaven. Not do traditional masses and/or services. As a former Catholic, I do not want to return

  • @Z1GGYK3V You were never a Catholic....certainly not a "true" Catholic, even if you considered yourself to be. It is your loss ZiggyK3V. It is your loss!

  • @MsCampobasso SATAN is the loser when one leaves catholicism... CHRIST THE REDEEMER is the WINNER. To leave catholicism & the god they have created is a GREAT JOY to the ANGELS in HEAVEN who REJOICE with the CREATOR & the SON. One day the HOLY SPIRIT will come upon you & show you that MAN DOCTRINE is NOT & NEVER will be SCRIPTURE.

  • @eatatmargos you must be eating at margos too often, and have lost any sense of history and faith, You are calling Christ a liar.

  • @MsCampobasso the christ catholicism has built is a LIAR (no such thing as "papal infallibility". To ASSume that the succession of Peter is equal to the liniage of your "pope" is ludicris.

  • @MsCampobasso the BIBLE was brought about by MURDER both from catholics & the PAGAN empire it represents. Where is the BOOK OF ENOCH? it is not in the catholic "bible" nor in KJ or the Tora BUT YET, CHRIST himself mentions ENOCH in addressing the issue that NO ONE (including Mary) is in Heaven. HEB 11:13.

  • May these individuals return back to the Catholic Faith before it is too late.

  • @DefenderCatholic many reformers have returned... according to REVELATIONS, the CHRISTIAN that HOLDS FAST to SCRIPTURE & does NOT go back to your MAN DOCTRINES will be EXECUTED as in the roman empire days. It is catholicism that is the Mother (her own words) HARLOT & the DAUGHTERS (reformers) will be welcomed back into the fold, it is the RESISTORS that will DIE for the TRUE CHRIST!

  • @DefenderCatholic it are the CHRISTIANS that stand against catholicism that are going to MURDERED first... (Revelations) with the re-emergence of "church & state" so anyone that doesnt "get out of her my people" will be fine (for a time) but when CHRIST HIMself comes back to DESTROY your "church" only then will you realize you got sucked into the BIGGEST hyste in human history. catholicism ITSELF identifies her as the "mother church"... it is ironic that in REVELATIONS it is referred the same.

  • Catholics believe that it is only Jesus who saves us but we need to cooperate with his grace.

  • These Ex's are just sprewing there won psycholoical shit and trying to make the church look bad...GET A LIFE!!!

  • @Randy02116 and that is why they are using the SCRIPTURE to back up WHY they left... or did you miss that part? Instead of damning to courage of those that left, you should be REJOICING that they no longer worship the god man created but are searching for CREATOR GOD. Look in the mirror when you criticise.

  • @ 2:23 God is a shining triangle. Catholics are being well prepared to receive the false messiah.

Wow. All these people who think they are Christian, and they don't even know Jesus. Never heard His voice, never had questions answered directly, never been told specifically what to do when a decision had to be made. How can a Christian live that way? Why be a Christian if you don't get to live with & hear Jesus?

  • "Faith without goodworks is dead" James 2:26 now which one is wrong ?!antichrist helper

  • I HAVE A QUESTION FOR EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN. ARE YOU TURNING LIKE THE PHARASIS WHO HAVE TOOK THE BIBLE STRICTLY DIDNT JESUS DISAPROVE THEM?! Please my fellow Christian never be like them. You zealots are bringing souls to hell. You are promoting hatred!PAUL TOLD US TO BE LIKE CHRIST BUT YOU IGNORANT PEOPLE ARE NOT BEING LIKE HIM FULL OF COMPASION AND LOVE YOU HAVE CURROPTED THE BIBLE LIKE SOLA SCRIPTURA AND SOLA FEDIS IS WRONG EVEN JAMES SAID EVEN THE BIBLE . ANTICHRIST HELPERS!!!

  • In response to the scripture quote by the man at 2:46 : Luke 10:25-37, the parable of the good Samaritan. A man asks Jesus what he must do to receive eternal life; Jesus tells the story of the Samaritan and says 'So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?'. The man answers 'He who showed mercy on him'. Then Jesus said 'Go and do likewise'. In this movie they complain about 'idolatrous catholics', but they choose Paul over Jesus. Hmmm... hyprocritical?

  • @ilbill220

"...they choose Paul over Jesus. Hmmm... hypocritical?"

There is no Paul to choose. The Holy Spirit fed Paul the words of his epistles. "Now the LORD IS THE SPIRIT." (2 Corinthians 3:17) That Scripture is contrary to Augustine's formula, but Augustine was wrong. Jesus is doing the teaching in all of the epistles.

"This is the work of God, that you believe in Him Whom He sent." (John 6:29) Until you believe, you will be unable to show God's mercy & love, hence, the people's doubts.

  • There are lots of ex-seminarians, ex-priests, and ex-nuns. They kick them out all the time.

  • no christians are following jesus, thats why all of them will go to hell

  • i christ did all than hitler also will enter to heaven

  • Jesus said that "Not all who say to me "Lord, Lord", will enter into heaven, but those who do the will of Him who sent me." Obviously if you have the spirit of Christ living in your heart, you will bring forth good fruits. Not that Christians never sin again, but they earnest desire to please God, even though they know that they still need God's grace. By the scripture, saving faith values Christ's sacrifice as the only merit we can claim. If you are going to be safe, you must follow the Bible.

  • Exodus said you shall not make IDOLS and bow down to them...

the statues are not idols... but reminders of the saints in heaven

  • why would you need to bow down to a reminder of a saint...Jesus never bowed down to John...where is the word catholic used in timothy

  • sorry... he's "the Church in pillar and foundation of truth." which church is he talking about?

Can only be one of the denominations of christianity for all hold different doctrines of their own truth...

  • John is not holier than Jesus, but John sure is holier than me.

  • choirboy526; Yeah right; 'reminders of saints in heaven'. The buddhists; shintoists; Hindu; Spiritists etc, & other idol worshipers will also tell you they in actual reality worship the spirits behind the idols. Dont you know that bowing down to idols involve worshiping the spirits behind them (whose physical representations are the idols that neither see, nor hear, nor move etc) & that it's abomination to God? Did God ever make any excuses for man to worship idols? If yes, show me biblically.

  • Whatever the true Church of Christ teaches, I shall believe...

Timothy says the Catholic holds all the foundations of truth...

  • The catholic church I am starting to think is for high brow individuals..

  • Hahahaha, awesome...

  • Sola fide is not biblical in fact it is preceeded in the bible (the only time it is mentioned in the bible) by the pretext we are NOT saved by faith alone. We are all pre -saved? (nonsense) Jesus told us we will be made pay the last penny in purgatory. Most of them have not read the bible. He also said we MUST confess and they dont even believe that. Many favour abortion. Read the bible and dont exclude what offfends you or you dislike.Outside the Church of Christ there is NO salvation.

  • "For you and for MANY unto the remission of sins"

NOT "For you and for all so that sins may be forgiven" The first are Jesus' words so all are not saved. Even the protestant bible contadicts sola fide! You will be very lucky if you spend a very long time in purgatory alone. Catholics have become laxed since the freemasons infiltrated the Vatican . Read about the 1958 conclave a the false pope and also about Cardinal Siri who should have been the real pope. Ecuminism is pre vaticanII. Not God.

  • It's so Sad how many people don't know about Christ. Thanks for posting this.

  • Its so sad how brainwashed humans are with religions.........

  • Interesting how they cite a catechism written by a single priest 2:04 which mis-represents the Catholic position on the matter:

Paragraph 169 Salvation comes from God alone; but because we receive the life of faith through the Church, she is our mother: "We believe the Church as the mother of our new birth, and not in the Church as if she were the author of our salvation." Because she is our mother, she is also our teacher in the faith.

    Note the first sentence.

  • The rest of my quote is from the Catechism of the Catholic Church published by the Vatican. The fact that people here don't understand what the Church teaches does not refute the fact that the RCC teaches salvation as a grace from God.

  • I went to church with a catholic friend and the priest said to pray for our service men and women over in Iraq....Why would christian people pray for other people who are killing people..wheres the sanity with all this bullshit......its science fiction.....

  • Hey, I'm a big fan of Science Fiction. Your comment there is absurd.

I don't understand what you are saying. If a friend of yours was deployed to Iraq, would you pray for his safe return?

I also never said I agreed with the war in Iraq. I have always been against it. However, have you heard of the "just war theory?"

  • of course i want all humans to be safe.....but to ask the god who said "thou shalt not kill" to protect and bring home safely the soldiers who "volunteered" to go and kill other people, many whom r innocent, makes no sense at alland this is not a just war......

  • The Eucharist is a continuation of the sacrifice of Christ in Calvary . this is so when he said the words "DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME " with the mass we remember that act of love Christ at calvary.

  • Mary is mediatrix of all grace for she mediated that is to bring God to man and man to God . She brought God to the world thru Jesus Christ .

  • Scripture also says that we must strive to be perfect just as the heavenly father is perfect .

  • The answers of these Catholic people are true . This is part of our being Co-wokers of God . Following what he has taughed and commanded us .

  • Purgatory simply says that at the moment of death if there are some venial sins that we commited,we will h

ave to pay for it there . In order to get to heven , one needs purity of the soul . purgatory erases all those venial sins we commited . Jesus saved us from sin , but we are all called to be co workers of Christ as Paul says in his writtings .

  • okay....an all loving and forgiving god who punishes u....hhhmmmmmmm

  • We are all called to be Co-workers of God .This is what St. Paul and THE GOSPEL say .

  • We are already saved by the Christ and his Passion . We already have eternal life. But if we do not live our lives good here on earth we may spend that eternal life in hell . The soul never dies .

  • Salvation came to us by the Sacrifice of Jesus in Calvary .The church teaches these works to us in order to go to the kingdome of God. Even if Christ saved us from sin, we can still go to hell because of our dis obedience to God. Remember the story of Lazarous and the Rich man .

  • Catholics molest the innocent, muslims kill the innocent. Both are blood guilty in the eyes of God. Both will be destroyed. Period.

  • GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOU!

  • Yes, but will he have mercy on you?

  • Yes i trust in the mercy of God.

  • (Matthew 23:6-7) His admonition here is a response to the Pharisees proud hearts and their grasping after marks of status and prestige.

He was using hyperbole (exaggeration to make a point) to show the scribes and Pharisees how sinful and proud they were for not looking humbly to God as the source of all authority and fatherhood and teaching, and instead setting themselves up as the ultimate authorities, father figures, and teachers.

  • You twist scriptures well. Find the scriptures where any priest in jewish times molested their own members? Or dominated them to the point of being poor? Or killed innocent people by forming campaignes and forming false conclusions in most cases. Where they walked amist their poor gaped in jewels and gold asking them for more money. These preist do not represent Christ in any way shape or fashion. Anyone can twist scripture. But it takes a man of God to live by them. Catholics are hypocrites

  • So if his words in Matthew 23 were meant to be taken literally, Fundamentalists would be just as guilty for using the word "teacher" and "doctor" and "mister" as Catholics for saying "father." But clearly, that would be a misunderstanding of Christs words.

Jesus criticized Jewish leaders who love "the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues, and salutations in the market places, and being called rabbi by men" (Matt. 23:67).

  • Fundamentalists themselves slip up on this point by calling all sorts of people "doctor," for example, medical doctors, as well as professors and scientists who have Ph.D. degrees (i.e., doctorates). What they fail to realize is that "doctor" is simply the Latin word for "teacher." Even "Mister" and "Mistress" ("Mrs.") are forms of the word "master," also mentioned by Jesus.

  • He also reminds us that the Church has an office of teacher: "God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers" (1 Cor. 12:28); and "his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers" (Eph. 4:11). There is no doubt that Paul was not violating Christs teaching in Matthew 23 by referring so often to others as "teachers."

  • Although Jesus seems to prohibit the use of the term "teacher," in Matthew 28:1920, Christ himself appointed certain men to be teachers in his Church: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations . . . teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." Paul speaks of his commission as a teacher: "For this I was appointed a preacher and apostle..a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth" (1 Tim. 2:7); "For this gospel I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher" 2 Tim. 1:11.

  • Third, a careful examination of the context of Matthew 23 shows that Jesus didnt intend for his words here to be understood literally. The whole passage reads, "But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Neither be called masters, for you have one master, the Christ" (Matt. 23:810).

  • Second, there are numerous examples in the New Testament of the term "father" being used as a form of address and reference, even for men who are not biologically related to the speaker. There are, in fact, so many uses of "father" in the New Testament, that the Fundamentalist interpretation of Matthew 23 (and the objection to Catholics calling priests "father") must be wrong, as we shall see.

  • Some Fundamentalists argue that while it may have been permissible to call certain men "father" in the Old Testament, since the time of Christ, its no longer allowed. This argument fails for several reasons.

First, the imperative "call no man father" does not apply to ones biological father. It also doesnt exclude calling ones ancestors "father," as is shown in Acts 7:2, where Stephen refers to "our father Abraham," or in Romans 9:10, where Paul speaks of "our father Isaac."

  • Catholics can't mention one scripture. Thats because they are ignorant of the bible. They only fill their heads with what their priest tells them. And of course a wicked false priest will tell you to call him father and to go through him to get to God.

  • how dare you!
